They also did a lot of various dance classes on the WBTA and on the EB they did Spanish classes.

Bring on the divorce.:lmao:

Have I told you about our dance lessons, they lasted 1 week!:rotfl:

HI Sarah - we saw that programme just now too - I don't think I will bother with the tobogganing thingy although it looks good fun - it's the cable car up that mountain that would put me off - I think we will just chill out and have a wander round the town in Madeira - scenery looks lovely though.

LOL me too! That's why I didn't do the one at Gibraltar! I think we may either just wander around or if Disney do a tour with wine tasting do that.

LOL! Yeah and the best dancers got to dance in one of the shows together with the officers! Honestly I think I'd be shot especially if I got to dance with Clayton!

I was thinking.................
Is it possible to book a disney hotel and get them to take your luggage to the ship????? Even if you do it all on your own. Is it worth e-mailing disney on this?

Lynne I'm confused lol. Do you mean book a hotel in Barcelona through Disney and get them to take the luggage for you? I think you have to travel with the luggage but yes they do then give you transfers if you pay for them.

Or are you on about a Disney hotel in which case I don't think theyll send them to Barcelona from Orlando lol

Well, you are certainly getting results!! Good for you! Has your wife been as successful as you've been?

Krista

Her weight loss has not been as fast as she would like it to be, but I tell her that she is doing great. The weight is coming off. I am just so glad that we are doing it together. When one of us gets down on ourselves, the other is there to pick you back up. We're a good team! ::yes::

Yes, I suppose it is the transfers I want, really what I was thinking was, if we wanted to sight see in barcelona they could take care of our luggae and we could make our way to port without the hassle of the luggae.
I dont really want transfers just rid of the luggage.
Disney trek, you sound a bit more sympathetic than Leonard.
Do you really need to eat that?

Ange, you know the deal, standing on each others feet, going the wrong way, then we all channged partners and we done just fine, so we bickered for ages about whos fault it was, we never went back, we tried squash after that, he hit me on the jugular flat out with the ball, I thought he had killed me, best bruise I think I have evr had, anyway we gave up doing "together" things after that except watch movies and running because I am so breathless I cant talk he says!

In which case I think you have to go to the port with your cases and check in but I belive you can go once checked in and head into town. That's what they did last time.

Thats what I was trying to aviod, I take it you have to check in with your cases then?
How far is the port from town, can you get a taxi right up to the terminal you need to be at?

Thanks Sarah, although it was not the answer I was looking for you did answer my Qestion.

Well you drop them off outside and then go in and check in. Not sure if they'd be happy if you just scarpered lol.

The port is around 5 mins walk from town but depends how far in the port they park. Last time there was a bus to the town that took around 10 minutes and then dropped you next to the cable car terminal which was 5 mins from Las Rambles. Oh and yes you can get a taxi right up into the port

Lauren and I are actually considering this hotel. Would you think a view of the Magic will be possible? That would be a great way to greet the morning of September 18, 2010. Open the curtains and there she is. I get goose-bumps thinking about that. :rotfl:

I thinksomeone posted that you could but I cant find the post.
The pool area looks super nice.

I did this the other year on the very first Med cruise (not sure what they did after ours as they were still working out the kinks). I had asked this question of Disney a few times prior and never got the same answer. So figured I would just wait and see when I got to the hotel and they had the desk set up.

I booked my own hotel at one of the hotels Disney was using. I was able to check-in at the desk they had set-up and I was also able to add the transfer from the hotel to the port as well. We had to put our luggage outside our door by 8 or 9 am that morning and they took the luggage right to the ship for us. I actually did not get on the bus to the port. (I bought the transfer just to get my luggage to the ship.) After they checked us in I headed out to use the 2nd day of my tursitic pass and walked the La Ramblas and then flagged a cab to the port.

I was thinking about going mad and booking this hotel.

Anybody else staying here?

Bit to much money for me, but I know it was one of the hotels Dinsey used in 2007 for the Med cruises.

:lmao::rotfl2::rotfl: We took a ballroom dance class years ago too. We also did much better dancing with the instructors than with each other! ;) I am sure that it is because he never got the idea of leading. :rolleyes1:lmao:

So they check you in at the hotel, this is exactly what I was meaning, how much were the transfers last time, probably be a bit expensive just to get rid of your luggage, might be worth it though.

I agree the hotel is a bit too pricy for us also, bit I am thinking this is all a bit too expensive for us so what the heck!

Really? That's fantastic! Didn't realise they took the bags as assumed you would have to travel with them!

I think the transfers were around $45 each way but can't remember if this was for 2 or 1 of us lol
