Hey Jason,

We'll be waiting for you to visit. We don't have any plans for the fall/early winter 2011 so we'll be around. Just depending on the time frame I should be able to take some extra time off when you are around.

Jon

Have a wonderful time Woody and Mrs Woody. Hope you don't encounter any earthquakes in NZ. Safe travels.
Thanks Sarah. I have a few small items to pack for the plane (iPod, mini-flashlight, earplugs), then we're off to the airport.

Woody

Jason: that looks like a terrific itinerary. We bought Around the World flight tickets in 2008, and it was one of the best holidays ever.

We loved New Zealand. In fact, we leave tomorrow for a one month holiday to the Cook Islands and NZ's north and south islands.

Good luck planning your amazing adventure.

Woody

Please be safe on your travels. I hope your and wife have a lovely time. Hope to see you again soon on another cruise.

So sorry for your loss. I know how special Remy was o you. Hope she is having a wonderful time in Mouse Heaven with her Mommy Snoopy.

I am so sorry to hear your sad news .... I know how special she was to you and how much she will be missed. Sending you :hug::hug::hug:

Oh, I am so sorry!!! I know you loved her!! (((HUGS)))

Thanks everyone. I was really sad to lose Remy...

My sister and my mom couldn't take it anymore so they went out yesterday and bought two new baby mice! They are between 2-3 months old and I forgot how playful young mice are! We named them Perla (from Cinderella) and Peanut (Remy's favorite food).

I'll try to post some pictures...if they will sit still long enough for one! LOL!

Jason, if you do the National Parks - we are between Glacier National Park and Yellowstone National Park. We would love to see you again and show you around our beautiful part of the US.

That sounds like a fantastic trip and I hope that you will have a wonderful time. You might need to rethink the Japan part of the itinerary though after the events of the last few days and what is likely to happen out there in the near future.

Hi everyone, just wanted to let you know I have not dropped off the earth. I still have trouble getting out of bed every day but once I get up, that determines how the rest of the day will go.
It sucks but I am learning to just deal with it and take it a day at a time.

I do have an appointment at Johns Hopkins on May 16. A whole bunch of appointments all in one day. Hopefully they will be able to give me more answers.

And just when I thought it couldn't get any worse, I had noticed a spongy lump on my left shoulder so I went to the Dr and he ordered a CT scan. The lump is not anything to be concerned about but they noticed a spot on the right side of my lung about the size of a BB. I have to go back in 6 months to get another CT scan. At this point, we can only wait till September and see what the scan looks like. I have to be happy that I had the problem and they caught it early. The Dr thinks it will be okay but he also said that they might have to keep an eye on it for the next two years.

The good news is Stephanie and I are eagerly planning our trip in September. We fly out to Seattle and spend the day there. What we did tho was book a one day cruise on the Sapphire Princess so we will be picked up at the airport and taken to a hotel and the next morning taken to the ship and sail from Seattle to Vancouver. We will then spend the day in Vancouver and then on Sept 20 board the Disney Wonder for a five day cruise to LA and then spend two days in Disneyland. I have not seen Disneyland since 1968 so I think it has changed a little??? :lmao::rolleyes1

I cannot wait for this trip. We are traveling with two other Disney lovers so this will be so much fun.

Hope that the wonderful docs at JH figure out what is causing the problem! You certainly are having a time of it!

Your trip sounds wonderful!!! Have you thought about 2012 yet? We are still looking for cruise mates for the Fantasy 9.15.2012 sailing...

I cannot even begin to tell you how much I am looking forward to this coming trip. I loved, loved the TA but naturally Disneyland holds a special place in my heart cause that is where my darling hubby took me on one of our few dates.

We did talk about going on the Fantasy in May of 2012 when Deb Wills will be on it. I am still bummed about that beautiful bed not being able to be split into twins, but we will just toss a coin to see who gets it for three nights and who gets it for four!!!!:lmao:

Oddly enough, when I posted this, it was not the problems with the nuclear reactors that were on my mind even though I now believe that the so called experts do not know what they are talking about based on some news that i heard this morning. If the government of Japan, who has every reason to play this down, admits that the radiation levels around the plants are very high and likely to get worse, then I think we have a problem. This is also backed up that no aircrafts are allowed to fly in the vicinity of those power plant due to the risk of the radiation. If you also consider that the natural radiation at cruising altitude of a commercial aircraft is quite high and aircrafts are build to withstand this, then this is very worrying.

My original comment referred to something completely different. On Sunday, I heard a number of different seismologists saying that they expected significant aftershocks of up to 6 on the Richter scale until probably the end of the year. They were also of the opinion that we had not seen the biggest aftershock yet and that based on past experience, this is like to be one point less on the Richter scale than the original earthquake. If this proves true, than Japan will not be able to recover an rebuild in time for the end of the first half of next year.

I am sorry about your ongoing health issues. I hope that you get the answers that you need soon and that you feel better soon.

Your trip sounds fantastic. When will you be leaving Disneyland? We will arrive on September 26th. We managed to get a studio at Grand Californian Villas for 6 nights before our cruise and 4 nights after.

Things are getting exciting around here. I might get my vow renewal after all. Before we even went on our first Disney Cruise, we had planned to do a vow renewal at Crystal Cathedral in Garden Grove, California. Then I was lucky enough to attend a vow renewal on the Disney Wonder on our second cruise and ever since then I have planned to do our vow renewal on a Disney ship. When this fell through, I did not even think to consider other arrangements.

Graham mentioned a week or so ago that maybe we should reconsider Crystal Cathedral. Initially it did not even sink in, but I decided to email their wedding coordinator on Sunday. I have been emailing backwards and forwards with her since and she suggested that we might be able to do something very simple in one of the pastor's offices. This really appeals to me. I am waiting for her to come back to me with some prices, but even having the vow renewal at Crystal Cathedral itself would cost less than doing it on the Wonder. I would provide my own flowers, but I found a gorgeous silk bouquet on Ebay. There would not be any cake, but we might be able to have a cake with dinner that evening. So it looks that this will work. I can't wait to get more details.

We have visited the Crystal Cathedral and it is truly amazing. It should make a great venue Corinna.

We will be at Disneyland Sept 25 and 26. Stephanie has to be back to work so we will leave Sept 27. I have been trying to stay longer with relatives but don't think it will work out.

Hope everything works out with the vow renewal!!

I love Crystal Cathedral. We came across Crystal Cathedral by accident in 2004. I think we were trying to get to The Block at Orange and took a wrong turn. I was absolutely blown away by it. In 2006, we only had a couple of nights in Anaheim before going on a fly drive tour so I had no intention to visit Crystal Cathedral then, but I could see it from the hotel parking lot and it kind of called to me so we had to make a little detour.

I am not too fussed about where the ceremony actually will take place, but if we have the ceremony there, we can spend as long as we want having photos taken in the grounds. I hope that they will be able to recommend a photographer.

Amy - so sorry to hear about Remy!! I look forward to seeing the new little ones soon.

Jason - your itinerary sounds wonderful. I am sure you will have a fabulous trip. Are you planning on visiting the Grand Canyon? Also in Boston you must eat a lobster roll!! Would love one right now for lunch:yay:

Corrina - I am sure you will have a beautiful vow renewal. When we lived in California, the Crystal Cathedral was our church. This was many many years ago, but lots of beautiful memories. We used to drive down from LA every Sunday if that tells you how much we loved it.

Terry - hope the doctors can tell you some good news! You are in good hands at Johns Hopkins. Hang in there!

We have no cruises or trips planned so I am just living vicariously through everyone else!!!
