OMG - between this cruise going to ten threads and my previous double dip cruise in 2008 going to five threads, I am SOOOOOO spoiled!!! Half the fun of preparing for the trips was to check the DIS out several times a day (more on this thread in order to keep up) and have fun sharing the experience with so many wonderful people.

So here I am, less than FIVE months out for my cruise to Alaska and they are only at page 69 of the FIRST thread!!! And it was started in Sep2009!!! Certainly seems like it's going to be a really different experience!

I hear you. The thread for our Mexican Riviera cruise had been going since fall 2009 and made it to 35 pages. About 33 of those pages are posts from people who are not even on this cruise anymore. So yesterday I asked the moderators to close that thread and I started a new one for those of us that are actually on this cruise.

I have come to really appreciate the hard work people on this thread have done. I am in the process of putting some info posts together as we predominantly have first time cruisers now. It is a labour of love, but it takes so much time.

Hi Lynne!! I have our thread for our Fantasy trip in 2012 open and so far it is me and 2 others from our same county. I know it is early but I do miss the comorodity that we had and still have here.

For our Carnival cruise this September we are on page 7. Yeah - page, not part... 174 days to go and no talk of a meet and greet, no nothing! Cruise Critic just doesn't have the pull for others I guess... Makes me really miss this group!

Hiya Our cruise thread for the 2011 WBTA is just about to enter Part 3 and has a long way to go to catch up with this one. It is getting a lot more active though now as the cruise gets closer

Do miss everyone from this one who isn't on that one though

I have just booked 2 weeks in Orlando in July, from 1st to 17th, so if anyone is around and about at that time it would be lovely to catch up and say hi. We are there to see our DD who is working from 19th June to 2nd September on the college programme. It will be our first experience of the 4th July in the USA ... which should be interesting

Hello from Greymouth, NZ. We are on a long holiday visiting the north and south islands. Yesterday we took the scenic TranzAlpine train from Christchurch.

As we drove by Christchurch yesterday morning on our way to the train station, we were saddened to see so much devastation by the earthquake.

On Tuesday, we head to the Franz Joseph Glacier.

If anyone wants to join us for dinner, we are meeting Sandi, Darryl and Abby in Celebration - Wednesday night, 7pm.

Hello from Te Anau. Yesterday we went for a cruise on Milford Sound among snow-capped mountains and waterfalls. The scenery is spectacular, and we saw fur seals.

Today we leave for an overnight cruise on Doubtful Sound.
