Sept 18 2010 WB TransAtlantic Pirates/Capt Jacks Re-Repoing Repossession Cruise Pt.10

We booked our airfare for the Alaska cruise today. My parent's and sister haven't flown in 11 years so my sister was freaking out a bit just about the reservations...I still get freaked out too...and a big pit in my stomach!

Tomorrow night is inventory at the Disney Store. I'm hoping it all goes well and we get out on time. I was doing an inventory once where we were there until 4am! Dave had jury duty tomorrow and he is not looking forward to it at all...I feel so badly and I wish I could go in his place.

We had a company in to do the inventory count over the weekend, then we have the next 24 hours to get an errors fixed and find any items that were missed in the count. I would rather do the count and not have to worry about the missing stuff.

We have decided to cancel the vow renewal. I am absolutely heartbroken and to say that I am spitting nails at the moment would be the understatement of the year.

Corinna

So sorry to hear of this , I know that you were really looking forward to it!

so now we are usa just under 3 months (can stay for 90 days under visa waiver) that should be enough time to travel around love to meet up with some of you guys (including in canada)

jason

Jason your trip sounds wonderful! If you find yourself in the Atlanta, GA let us know!

Enjoy Alaska - it is a trip that I would love to take. As for work, 1) I hope that you find something soon and 2) YUCK! I hated retail inventory!! I am still waiting for a Flat Amy to take to WDW in a month...

Speaking of that - I think the group from Wednesday April 6 dinner is growing. We are hoping to be able to expand our table size at the Rainforest Cafe at Animal Kingdom. Anyone else want to meet for dinner???

Sue

Hi to Everyone!

Heading to WDW two weeks from today (3/14); staying at OKW. It's been a long, cold, dreary winter here in Virginia (but thankfully not much snow) so I can't wait to see to all the beautiful flowers and topiaries at the Epcot F&G festival! :yay:

Our son will be on a short break from college and will join us--so happy that he'll still go to "the World" with Mom & Dad (of course, his girlfriend has a different break). :rolleyes1 After a few nights at Disney, we're going to spend one night at Universal's Royal Pacific (I LOVE that staying on-property there gives you front of the line access), primarily to go to the Harry Potter world. If anyone has been to HP world, please pass on any tips.

And, speaking of Harry Potter, Saturday night we saw the first performance of "How to Succeed in Business" starring Daniel Radcliffe on Broadway. It was really wonderful (whether you're a HP fan or not)! Turns out DR is really a very talented song-and-dance man; and very funny too. AND Alan Rickman who plays Professor Snape in the HP movies was sitting right in front of me in the audience! If you're in NYC, give it a go.

Wherever you are, I hope there's a hint of spring in the air...

Andrea

I'm so sad to say that this evening, my mouse Remy passed away. :sad1: She had really slowed down in the last week and her breathing was very labored. I didn't think it would happen this fast. I took a cute picture of her right before my sister and I left the house. It was like she was looking at us to say good bye. She was such a good mouse and I can only hope that she is with her mommy Snoopy up in heaven. :littleangel:

Jason: that looks like a terrific itinerary. We bought Around the World flight tickets in 2008, and it was one of the best holidays ever.

We loved New Zealand. In fact, we leave tomorrow for a one month holiday to the Cook Islands and NZ's north and south islands.

Good luck planning your amazing adventure.

thanks everyone

yeah its really exciting - scary but really exciting its the biggest trip i have ever made i have spent a month away in eastern europe, or a month travelling around western USA, most holidays have usually been a month spent 3 months travelling around europe

I think the scary thing is being out of work for a year I have always been able to find work and usally never took a break from work between contracts

Mind you for the last 15 years i have been paying off my student debts now i do not have those and I have no debts - so do not need to worry so much and I can take time for myself without chasing a wage.

this is like - every holiday for the next 10 years in 1 year !!!

as for earth quakes i am sure its safe enough ... New Zealand is in the ring of fire so I am afraid such places are prone to that - My thoughts go out to New Zealand
