Resort Thread Disney's CONTEMPORARY Resort

Do you think you want a courtyard view or outer ring view? Upper floors are a popular request since they are on Floor 2 - 16. Note that there are only (2) on the 16th floor and they both overlook the courtyard.

I think we'd prefer an outer ring view, unless there is something of note in the courtyard I'm missing!
I'd seen a few pics from when we were originally deciding to book BLT that had some good views of the lagoons/electric boat parade; but also some that might afford a partial view of theme park

I did a room request when checking in yesterday. One option was even numbered room which is the outer c. Another was north facing which I believe is 02,04,06,08,10,12 and 14. I had 04 before and a side TPV with fireworks was seen, I have also had 42 south facing and that’s got more action. You face CR and can see monorail and comings and goings of the resort. I enjoy both. I prefer TPV but it wasnt available this trip. I’m not a fan of the inside C , I don’t like to look across and see other families looking back at me lol.

Great, thanks for the suggestions!
You make the request when you check in? We rented DVC points for this one so first time doing it this way!

If you want a detailed request you need to have the member that secured the reservation on their points make the requst via Member Services. They can chat, email, or call.

You can make a request during online check-in, but the options are very limited. There is no place for you to type in specific requests or room numbers through My Disney Experience when you do online check-in.

At mco waiting for my bag and hot room ready text at 1:30p. My request was met 🥰🎉
Congrats! Enjoy the trip!

Great - thanks for added info! We'll reach out to the member who booked it and ask for them to make the request in advance.
