Just wanted to say hi to everyone. We just booked this cruise on a whim last night for our family of 5. It's our first cruise so we're looking forward to getting our feet wet...................VERY WET!

my inlaws are always willing to help out and give us a break, so I feel compelled to make it as painless as possible on them. Ps- our last "away" break was 4 and a half years ago, and I don't even know the last time we went to dinner or a movie together. Yikes!!!
I will be leaving my 7 and 4 year old with my inlaws while we're gone. They will definitely want to talk to us once per day, even for a couple of minutes to make sure we are ok and tell us how the kids are. I think unless it's an emergency it's probably not necessary, but then again my son is back in school, he's on meds for asthma and ADHD, and I know it's a lot of responsibility for my inlaws. My parents are both deceased or else I'm sure they would be with my mom and dad.
