Sept 11 3 day Wonder? Am I the only one?

Kendra- my parents definitely saw your door.....they got lost a couple of different times heading towards the gangway on the day we were in Nassau, so they started using your door as a marker. If they walked by it, they knew they were still lost. My mom was like, "I saw this door...that was decorated, I think they were getting married on the boat....there names were....." and I go, "KENDRA AND SHANE?!" and she was like, "yeah, how'd you know that?" And I was like, "mind reader."

Hey ladies - did ANYONE eat at Serenity Bay while on Castaway Cay. The question came up on another baord and I said no, it wasn't listed on our map. And everyone is saying yes you can eat there. Was it open this past weekend?????

I'm sure someone here used the adult beach. (I don't get to play with growns ups much...lol)

Yes, Jason and I ate there. I didn't see it on the map, either, but they do have a small place. I think that they just had stuff like the family beach.........hamburgers, ribs, steak sandwiches, mahi mahi, pasta salads, fruit, cookies, ice cream, etc...........nothing too special, but boy was the mahi mahi good! Yum! BTW, when I saw steak sandwich, I'm thinking like steak ums or something thinly sliced. They literally put a whole friggin' steak on Jason's sandwich! :scared1:

Thanks Michelle! I hope you don't mind but I am copy/pasting your response on CC. ;)

So when's our next cruise???? :cool1:

No problem! :goodvibes

I'm actually looking at cruises right now. :thumbsup2 I was considering doing one possibly in February and in November because they have a great deal right now for the 11/22 cruise. Maybe I'll do another line in February since Disney is so expensive. Any suggestions? :confused3

Yeah go with us...;)

We'll be on RCCL Independence of the Seas. Going to Belize, Costa Maya and Cozumel from Fort Lauderdale.

My TA has a group going and the prices were good for Independence. That's the ship with the rock climbing wall, ice skating rink, H20 zone water park, Ben & Jerry's, shopping mall, casino, Johnny Rockets...lol.

We leave on Feb 1st, 2009 for 6 days. Your daughter would LOVE it. :) I see it's starting at $659pp. This ship JUST launched in May, so it's new. And it's homeported in the UK, so they are bringing her over for a few special sailings in Winter.

We've been on Freedom and can't wait for Independence.

We ate at serenity, shane had one of the best steaks of his life and I had a cheeseburger. It was a really good one at that. My table mates ate one of everything. They said it was really really good.

We are also looking at booking either a princess or RCCL

Alright, I'm trying to figure out what to do as far as trip go next year. I'm thinking of doing two separate cruises. I thought about one trip to WDW and one cruise, but honestly if I go at the right time, it's less expensive to cruise. Also, Emily's been to WDW 5 times so far and still isn't at an age where she's into everything. I just think that at this age a cruise is a better fit for her because she has the characters, Mickey's pool and the kids clubs. What more can a 4 year old want?! :rotfl: Not to mention that if I go with her by myself, I think it's a little easier to be in a contained environment. ;)

I think that next week I'll book for right before Thanksgiving (great price), and then may do one earlier in the year, I'm just not sure when yet. What do you experts think? :goodvibes

Ok, I think I *may* have it figured out! Instead of doing a couple of trips next year, I'm thinking that I'll do one in May, right before Emily's 4K graduation. They have practically the entire week off before for the teachers to get ready, so I thought why not! I would do a 3 night cruise and do a couple of nights at WDW before hand, so that she could have the best of both worlds!

We are booked for the Double Dip Cruise next year. I believe it's
Nov 14-21, 2009. We'll be celebrating my birthday on that one. I'm getting ready for our upcoming one Oct 11. The one this month was just a warm up. I have 26 cabins on this for the FE exchange. Haven't figured out how I'm bringing all those FE gifts on board. Didn't I see on this board that someone else was also doing the Double Dip?

Ray and I ate at Serenity Bay also. I realized this last time that it wasn't on the map. I got concerned. I usually get the steak sandwiches over there. Ray got the Mahi and the ribs. Don't know if I'll be able to get over there next time since we'll have the kids. Maybe I'll send them to eat with the kids program while we make a run to Serenity Bay.

I've been busy printing magnets for the next cruise. I'm also doing the autograph books for all 3 boys and making a couple of t-shirts. We are also celebrating Michael's birthday, so I'm making those signage as well. The fun never ends. Can't tell you how much ink I have gone thru.

Well, I just did it! I booked Emily and myself on the May 7-10 sailing on the Wonder, with a couple of nights beforehand at WDW! Can't wait!!

Just wanted to drop in and say hi to all of those who participated in the FE exchange. My sis (AryFairy) and I down in 1066 couldn't believe how many of you visited us down there in the dungeons lol. We loved everything! Hope you all liked our pixie dust!! Looking foward to another cruise on the DCL. It was a blast. - Nancy

Michelle - congrats!!!! Have fun on your May Wonder trip.

Fivepin - 26 cabins for the FE  I can't even imagine! Have a blast!!!

Nancy - hey no problem! We had fun looking for all of the cabins! :thumbsup2

Hi everyone --

I also wanted to thank you all for a FANTASTIC fish exchange! When we got home, my 5-year old told her babysitter that the best part of her vacation was "coming back to our room and finding lots of presents!" :yay: She was so excited about the whole process; it really made her trip.

And I'm enjoying looking at a picture of us in our pirate costumes that I've put in the great personalized boat picture frame that we got in the FE. The gifts were all so clever!

It was really nice meeting a few of you, but I wish I could have seen you all to say thank you in person. We had such a great time on our cruise; we booked another one while we were onboard even though we don't have dates set yet. (But don't worry -- we'll find a time to take it!) :rotfl:

We enjoyed our little gifts. We especially laughed when we got the Michigan key chain! That was awesome!!! Shane and I laughed for the longest time.

We had thieves as well. People stole my non wedding magnets. I had a feeling they would. Why people are so horrible is beyond me.

Kendra, your wedding photo is beautiful!

I'm glad you have a sense of humor about the Michigan key chain! :rotfl2: I just hope the thieves didn't take the OSU Pez we gave you; I would hate for you to think that we were being too one-sided! :goodvibes

Congratulations on your wedding!! :)

Loved the Pez dispenser!!!! Shane and I laughed so hard. It was nice to feel close to home. It made me think of my mom and dad who I have not had the opportunity to see in a year.

Thanks for the comments about the pictures. I plan on putting more up, however, my three year old was diagnosed with tonisilitis, strep and an ear infection and I have radiation to do next week. So it might be a couple of weeks before I get a chance.
