Thanks Mandy for the video of the sideways cabin never seen it before..
Now can anyone tell me what the room with the secret porthole is about??
There are about 8 cabins onboard that were originally categorized as Outside with a View - but they have varying degrees of restricted view due to ship parts being in front of the window. So instead of being sold as Outside with a View (Cat 9?), they are sold as the cheaper Cat 10. 5020, 5022, 5024, 5026 (or so) and the corresponding 55xx rooms.
There are also Secret Verandah rooms that have a slightly restricted balcony, so they are sold at the one-lower category price.
Hello, Lynn!
We're staying at the Hilton, too! We are curious about the transportation to the Hard Rock...do you take a taxi or is there something more reasonably priced? We're only there for 1 night, but would like to join the group on Friday night.
Thanks, Connie
Will have to be researching this - there is a tram that runs up the Avenida Diagonal and the subway, both very close to our hotel. goofprincess (Sandy & Tony) will also be there.
And there are the fountains at Montjuic (built in the 1920s, water choreographed to light and sound) for viewing on the half-hour starting at 9pm. (May to September - Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday: 21:30, 22:00, 22:30 and 23:00)
At least we've got time to organize all this - there might be enough of us to get transport to the ship in the morning, too, at a decent price, especially since we are so close.
Burnice; good to read something from you! Was about to sent out Mandy's search&rescue-party for you. Sorry to read mom isn't been doing to well. Crossing my fingers she'll be up to her old self again before you know it.
Hopelessly gotten behind on the topic. Had a silly fall recently and dealing with a concussion, so screentime is been very little.
I was wondering where you were - maybe we needed to send out Mandy's search and rescue for you!
Hi There
It seems we have now received several communications which all confirm much of Gibraltar will be open for business on the day we docked there. It's great to get so many corresponding e-mails which hopefully means we're in for a great day and plenty of time to shop at Morrisons for those essentials.
Thanks again for your information

So, the big port excursion discussion for Gibraltar is "are the shops open."

What an exciting family we are - I try to go to the grocery store and Wal-Mart whenever I am on vacation. Love to see the variety of selections they offer. Here's what I saw in Conzumel on a 7-night Western Caribbean (when the water activities were cancelled due to rough seas):
