Seeking opinions of Notherners who have visited in Dec. Need humidifiers in FLA??

Those of us who live in the snowy north need humidifiers in our houses this time of year because the air is so dry. Just wondering if we should bring a couple of small ones for our stay at WDW. Excuse me if this seems a silly question with an "obvious" answer, but I've always lived in the North.

Updated 12/11: I thought I had the answer to this, until pearljim from Connecticut gave a different response. Would like to hear from other Northeners who use humidifiers at home. Did you find the air too dry when you stayed at the World in December? TIA for your opinion.

Thanks for the answers. One of our family members is prone to nosebleeds when the air is too dry, so it is a fairly important factor. I guessed that lack of humidity wouldn't be a problem, but I just had to ask.

I beg to differ - we've been going in the Florida "wintertime" (Jan, Feb, Mar) for over 20 years. While the Florida air isn't nearly as dry as CT, it's dry enough. We always buy a cheap humidifier and discard it at the end of the stay - a good $20 investment!

Thanks for offering your different view. This prompted me to change the title of my post. Two of us have small travel humidifiers that we can use by our bedsides, but if that doesn't do the trick, we'll probably follow your suggestion. $20 spread over 14 days seems a small price to pay for the extra comfort.

My curly hair always seems an inch shorter when I'm in Florida during Februrary vacation. It's plenty humid compared to our very dry home in Massachusetts.

I thought it was humid when we were there last December. That's why Florida seems colder. 60 degrees doesn't feel so cold here in Maryland b/c its dry, but 60 degrees feels much colder in FL b/c of the humidity.

I've grew up partially in Flordia with my Mom, but live in Michigan. The air in Florida is always humid enough for me! No matter what time of year!
