While I think it is great that WDWFan_36 wants to get the Secret Buddy program started, I fear this may cause some confusion as so many of us are already signed up on the other thread.

Idol_Fan is a DIS member. We have traded together a few times through here. I will contact Idol_Fan - who is also on my vmk friends list - and find out the status. I will post it here and on the original through the Idol_fan has set up.

Then, if Idol_Fan is not doing this anymore, WDWFan_36 can just take over the original thread. Does that sound good?

I don't know her personally(even thru vmk) so I don't consider this to be a private note, but it applies to everyone involved in the buddy sign up. So really, if these threads could be combined or this one closed and stick to the original with a final roll call, which is what I was going to do had I not seen this.

I had a few suggestions if the new lead wants them, let me know.
Mostly go with the mules and make it last a few weeks for "little" surprises. Even having a friend deliver rather than a mule would work if you don't have any mules that aren't listed on your signature.

Ok so now I have questions though ... what if on the day specified you or your secret buddy cannot be on? Do we wait in the room till they show up? Is there going to be someone in the room to take and hold the gifts if someone cannot be on. And if we are to use a mule to give a gift how do we have our regulars there to receive their gift?

You should use a mule to give gifts out. If you cannot make the day I specified you need to contact me so you can give me the gift for your buddy.

Just a notice to everyone you need to be able to get a gift for everyone. It has to be over 500 credits though (so no barrel seats lol)

i feel really stupid for asking but...........

if everyone is using their mules on the day that we are supposed to gift each other, how will we know who we are gifting? do we just say "who is ________'s mule?" also, when do we find out who we are gifting?
