How easy is it to request the picnic tables in the back if you have an ADR. We’d prefer not to sit in a car with other parties and a table would make us more comfortable. Easy to honor request or do they save those specifically for walk-ups?

I am glad you asked this question, since I find the car tables to be uncomfortable, not just because I am a bit overweight, but the table hits my chest at an awkward height. I have wanted to request a picnic table, but never have.

I agree that they are very uncomfortable. The only time we really enjoyed the seating there was during COVID when we had an entire 3-row car to ourselves and really spread out.
Those tables seat 8 (maybe more?), so bigger parties that want to sit together would get priority. If you hit it at the right time, you could get lucky. Never hurts to ask, right?

Are you talking about the car tables that have chairs instead of booth seats or the picnic tables along the back wall? I don’t think the picnic tables seat more than four.
I am as well but I think StevieB81 might be referring to the few tables with chairs that have a car front and back. They look like they can be configured for larger parties, and as I am usually solo, or at most a party of three, I would not expect to be seated there at all. I want to sit at the round tables with the umbrellas in the back of the room, if I can.

Our party of 7 was seated at an actual picnic table that did not have a car front and back. However, I’m not remembering if that was our family trip in 2021 or 2014. No umbrella. It could have been the earlier trip.
These are the picnic tables ... they seat four comfortably. I only sat there once and wouldn't again. I don't remember there being anything other than these. Perhaps they pulled up chairs in between but I don't know how the food would fit on those tables.
These are the tables that are a regular table with car front and back.
There are some even bigger with two tables and the ability to connect them for larger groups. See yellow car bottom left.
