Sci Fi Dine-In Seating (Party of 7)

Hey there,

we will be 7 for dinner (6 adults, and a 16 month old) but none of us have ever been there. Are there cars that will fit us all? Will we need 2 cars? Will they seat us in a non-car area? Just curious because we may choose to cancel the reservation depending on what you guys tell me.

keep in mind, the theme is a drive-in dinner theater. Which means, you'll be in cars which face forward. You'll be watching a screen. When you face forward, it means you wont be able to talk to your table mates that easily. Which is not a bad thing because the restaurant is one of the quietest around (people are making an effort to be quiet because everyone is watching the movie clips). Its a nice quiet retreat.

Yes they do have a table within a car, if that makes sense. So there is an option to be at a regular table which does allow you to face your family and chat away. Both options are good. Totally up to you as to what you prefer for your family. i'll post a pic. it'll allow you to see how many can sit at the table. I cant remember if its 6 or 8.

You shouldnt have an issue fitting your 6 + a 16 month old in a highchair at the regular tables, if thats what you want. Keep in mind the place is darker than most restaurants...naturally, since its suppose to be a drive in. Just wanted to give you the heads up since you do have a wee one.

The car we were in sat 6, same as the row on the right of us. I didnt notice, nor have a picture beyond that. My husband and daughter sat in the fronw row, I was in the second, and a random couple were behind me. I had no problems talking to my husband/daughter, we just werent looking at eachother. The couple behind me would have never been able to talk to them though, but I could hear everything they were saying (deciding on what to order!) I would say if just one member of your party is small, then yes, 7 could fit. There was a good amount of room in between my husband and daughter, and then again on the left side of her. She was about 5"6" at this time and my husband is 6'2".

We had a reservation for 7 with one of them being 23 months and they asked us if the litte guy would be in a high chair when we checked in. They sat us in a car for 6 plus a high chair.

If this is something you want, you should definitely ask for it. At the same time if you have zero interest in sitting at the table, ask for a car when you check in.

When we checked in they showed us a picture of the car and the table with the car at the ends, then said we could choose which one we preferred since we had an ADR. We were a party of 4 with an 11:10 am ADR.

A party of seven will most likely get seated in a "stretch limo" car, which basically is their term for cars with tables and chairs, the exception would be if one or more in the party is in a high chair, then they may seat you at a standard vehicle since there are a lot more of them.

And if you have a preference of one or the other, you can always ask accordingly, just know that for the ones with tables and chairs the wait may be slightly longer due to how few there are.

You will most likely be the first two rows of a regular car and then a party of two will “hitch hike” in your third row.
