It doesn't bother me if people reuse their mugs, use child credits as adults, pool hop, lie about their kids ages, or whatever. There are worst things you can do in life.

Whenever I see Paris Hilton on TV or in a magazine, I can't help but wonder what her purpose in life is.

I find religious billboards to be incredibly offensive - to me, religion is a private thing and to have people speaking for God on a billboard along side Chic Fil-A ads and South of the boarder signs is tacky.

I think:

- that people who aren't going to actually parent a child shouldn'd have them.

- that people who hurt children have a special place in hell, and deserve to go there as soon as possible, without passing GO or collecting $200.

- that kids need to get out from in front of the TV and go outside and PLAY.

- that gratuitous lawsuits should be outlawed.

- that if you are on welfare/foodstamps you should not have any more children until you can support them.

- that racial profiling is not *always* a bad thing. When young Middle Eastern males have hijacked planes and crashed them into towers, kidnapped journalists/civilian workers and decapitated them live on video, bombed US embassies in Africa, hijacked a cruise ship and pushed an American in a wheelchair over the side, blown up Marine barracks, and kidnapped and massacred athletes in Munich, then young Middle Eastern males need to be profiled. When Norweigan teenage girls or little old ladies from Des Moines start doing things like this, then they need to be profiled too.

I think women who pine for "the good old days" should actually live their life like it was the times the pine for:

Give up their right to vote, own property, and not be beaten by their husbands

Give up the modern conveniences they use everyday

Give birth to one baby after another without having any say on the matter

I'm pro-choice.

I'm all for same-sex marriage. I don't get to have a say in who a hetero person can marry so why should we have a say in who a gay person can marry. Change the word from marriage to union and afford them all the same rights (since marriage is a religious term).

I think George Bush is an idiot. He's not that far off from being eligible for his shot in Nuremburg IMHO. What a tool.

I hate that there are so many predjudices about people. All people, fat, skinny, short, tall, gay, etc.

How do you know the fat person doesn't eat like a bird but there are other reasons behind it? or How do you know the deathly skinny person is not sick or eats like a horse yet we label them anorexic?

I also agree with the old people's annual driving test and the fact that working English should be a prerequisite to work here.

Can't stand parents that think and raise their children to think the world revolves around them. Don't they see the harm they are doing to their kids?

I agree with so many of these and disagree with a few but here are some of mine:

I think that people who are on welfare should be made to be on birth control in order to get the $$$. If you can't afford the ones you have, you shouldn't be able to have more at others expense.

Every state should have a bad driver hotline

Too many people use their disabilites as excuses

Parents are focusing too much on what Johnny can do and not who Johnny is

Parenting skills have declined significantly in the past 20 years

I think George Bush is a decent human being and a good leader

I don't think that politics should be a career for anyone

I think that the Poly is overpriced (but I'll still stay there )

I think most Americans won't be going to Heaven because we spend money on incredibly frivolous things when so many are in need.

The people who work where I get my pedicures - they will only speak Hmong when I am there. I know they are talking about me.

This is a great thread. And so far, no debates.

I hate that so few people will take personal responsibility. When you buy hot coffee, expect it to be hot and don't stick it between your legs then sue someone when you get burnt.

I hate ads for personal injury lawyers, especially the ones that say "If your child was injured in child birth." It is not always the doctors fault. Sometimes nature just works this way.

And on that topic, I hate seeing pregnant women on TV that say, "I didn't know cocaine would hurt my baby." I never even took an aspirin while pregnant.

I hate that we can't hurt any child's self esteem. (I am so sick of that phase.) It is ok to praise someone for a job well done. Maybe that will encourage another child to try harder. Why do we have to reward every student, even the ones who have never tried.

I hate being in the checkout line buying all items on sale, ground meat, healthy foods, and no junk food because it costs too much, then the person in front of me has huge thick steaks, soda, chips, cigarettes and pays with food stamps. (Or the Indepence Card as it is called here. And I think it should be called the Dependence Card.)

WOW!! This is addictive. Once I started I couldn't stop.

I hate that people can tear down muslims and middle eastern people on this thread, but would never EVER post something like that about people of any other race (well except for maybe illegal Mexicans).

I hate that people cast judgments on a whole race and religion of people because of what an extremist arm is doing.

I hate that I have to listen to people every day tearing down my heritage.

I'm tired of working my butt off and there is countless of people capable of working who take a free ride off the State and have better things than I do.

And may I add that drivers really need to stop eating, reading, shaving, yapping on the cell phone, and putting on makeup while on the way to work in the morning. One other thing, could everybody get out of their house on time in the morning so you can stop running me off the highway. I do the speed limit and then some, I'm tired of people cutting me off because they didn't get up on time and they're running late. It's the same thing everyday.
