I think this is the most honest thread I have seen on these boards.

I think that everyone who lives in this country should know enough English to get by. I can't stand having to "Press 1 for English" whenever I make a phone call.

I hate that when you call must Customer Service numbers, you can never speak to a human being. You call that Customer Service?

I think there are too many Mommy Police. There are different choices, one isn't necessarily the only right one.

I think all children are different, and your parenting choices need to be based on each child's personality.

I believe there is only one true God.

I think there are a heck of a lot of people who think that if they are politically correct they are superior to those who are not.

I think many people who claim to have politically correct ideals are lying.

I think a fetus is a human being, and that abortion is murder.

I think margaritas are a gift from God.

I just have to say - some of the statements on here have brought me to tears. Not because I am offended, but it is SOOO nice to hear someone else say what I have been trying to.

And yes, the best reward is a sloppy kiss and a "momma" from my miracle child.

Oh - 1 more. When someone has a miscarriage, or is dealing with infertility, PLEASE do not say "I just look at him and I am pregnant" or "I am sure Fertile Myrtle" or " It wasn't really a baby yet anyway". Whether I had been pregnant for 3 days when I miscarried or 8 weeks, this was a baby I DREAMED about. I had this baby named already, the nursery sketched in my head. It was as real and you and me and you are a heartless person for speaking to me such as that. Infertility CUTS to the core and to have someone make almost light of it, well, lets just say I have never forgotten..

I hate that I have to spend a small fortune for my H.S. DS to have new school clothes just so he looks "cool".

I hate that people agree to serve on a committe but then never show up for a meeting.

I hate parents are not involved in thier kids activities. If they play a sport, in the band, dance or cheerlead. Show up and watch. Take an interest in what your kids do!

I think being a volunteer is good for your soul.

I hate people that want assistance with paying their rent drive brand new cars/trucks.

I think the separation between church and state is a good thing.

I hate when parents don't make thier children responsible for their actions. It does not help them in the long run.

I hate people who think those who disagree with them in politics are stupid, deluded fools. This goes for those on the Right and the Left, they are both guilty of this. Both sides are right about some things, and both are wrong on some things.

I hate terorists. They could be 100% right about whatever it is they believe in, but they blow whatever arguement they have when they bomb inocent civilians. It's a total waste.

I HATE red light/stop sign runners. These drivers are the most dangerous kind, and I feel cause the most serious injuries and deaths, just because they are in a hurry and STOP doesn't apply to them, no, they are special!

I hate having a cold. It sucks.

This is a GREAT thread! Now on with my list. I hate-

-people who judge me by how I look as well as others.

-If I moved to another country I would be expected to learn the language, so it should be the same in the US.

-I may not have voted for Bush and I may not like or totally agree with him, but he is my president and if we want the country to turn around then we should support him.

-Cell phone use should be banned for drivers. Trust me there is nothing SO inportant that you can't pull off the road to hear.

-Disrespectful teenager.

-Imitex commercials. I know that everytime one of those commercials run the price of my medication goes up.

-I am pro-choice, not pro-abortion! There is a difference.

-It used to be that you couldn't marry outside of your race, that has changed, I only hope that we can say the same thing about gay marriage in 50 years!

-lawsuits just for money, there is no way that 50 million dollars is needed to recover emotionally. You should go to jail if the lawsuit isn't legit.

-Military, Teachers, Police, Firemen should all make what movie stars make. Movie stars should make no more than all of the above.

I don't hate people who condemn legalized gay unions. I consider them pathetically ignorant and live in a state of fear, holding on to the belief that my life and who I love might effect their own privacy and family. If your marriage and/or who you love can't stand on your own merit, then I find you intensely, incredibly, sadly pitiful. Family values starts in your OWN home, not mine. There, I said it.

I absolutely hate George Bush with a pasion and am still pretty stunned he won the election once again.

There are a number of DIS'ers that are very, very religious that I enjoy "speaking" to. I find their viewpoints interesting although I usually don't agree with them.

I think the U.S. is filled to overflowing with people with a sense of entitlement. But I love the fact that there are just as many people who do believe in common courtesy and decency that negate those other idiots.

Clinton was the worst president we've ever had, and should have been impeached

Thank you Goobergal for starting such an "honest" thread!! It's always so nice to be able to get things off our chest!!

Here goes for me:

I really hate seeing our woods and cornfields used up for housing. Then once houses are put there people gripe and throw fits about animals being around. HELLO....you just took their homes away, what are they suppose to do!!!

I don't like Bush, for reasons I'd rather not get into here!

GOD? I think He's out there, most likely sitting at my sister's apostolic church altar or so she would like to believe.

I absolutely love the DIS and all the emotions and opinions that come with it!!

I like the DISer who had the idea of a bad driver hotline.....I know I'd be callin' it all the time!!

I have many gay friends but the legal marriage thing still gets to me a little bit.

I believe the government should NOT have a say in what a women and her SO chose to do with a pregnancy.

I say if the Swan/Dolphin wants to give out certain job discounts.....they can. It's their hotel....they can do with it what they want. Of course I do get the teacher discount so I could be a bit biased!!

I (thank GOD) have never lost a child but I honestly can say I'm a little tired of seeing Natalie Halloway's Mom on every cable news channel every night!

I believe the Governor of the state should reside in the capital city... If he doesn't want to, don't take the job...

People who complain about child leashes as treating toddlers like animals yet use cribs (cages) and strap them down into highchairs and carseats. I use harnesses, cribs, and carseats btw.

"Coddling" our children
EVERYONE (including our children) needs to learn personal accountabilty!!
Smoking and cussing (not necessisarily together)
People on welfare w/ lots of kids and more on the way and don't see anything wrong w/ that.
Calling AOL (AMERICA on Line) and getting people everywhere but America!!
My mother still trying to run my life and the fact that I think the only way to get her to stop would be to cut her off completly, which I do not want to do.
