Welcome back Wilma! What an awesome husband you have! What a great surprise and the best part was his keeping it a secret. That is something I could never do, I'm a teller not a keeper of secrets!

Glad to hear mom went out to lunch today Judi. You should have seen the little old man I waited on Saturday. He drove in, took him 5 minutes to get out of his truck, got hooked up to oxygen, took him a few more minutes to get in the door and to the counter, ordered his lumber, back out to the truck and away he went. Gotta give him credit, but I don't want to know his response time behind the wheel. I love the blue hairs!

Hello is anyone around?????I think that I just need a shoulder or two to cry on. My Grandson ran away today and I am just so unhappy that I don't know what to do. He is 17 and thinks that he is 21 and do anything that he very will pleases. I am sorry to bother you funny gals but just don't know what to tell my DD to do. Shirley

I'm so sorry. My word, 17 can be young and dumb. Have you called all his friends? That's usually where they go. Don't talk to the friend, talk to the parents. Find out if they can help you.

A lot of the time they'll wake up in the morning, and it'll be their pride that stops them from coming home. Check and see if you can report him missing.
Up here, at 17, they just do a well being check, but at least you'll find out where he is and that's a good start.

I"ll keep you and your grandson in my prayers. I hope you got a little sleep last night.

Happy Tuesday, Hags! How's it going?

Yesterday was a craptastic day for me. Really craptastic. But today is a new day, right?

Today I am taking the girls to Six Flags America where we will ride roller coasters and see Katy Perry perform! I kissed a girl and I liked it... Other groups who will be there are Boys Like Girls, All Time Low, and Metro Station. I have never heard of the other three, but Heather has! I am tired and emotionally drained from yesterday so I'm not really up for going, but I promised the girls, so....
Hopefully it'll be fun.

Judi great news that mom had a good day. I hope today she will have the same attitude and try to enjoy herself.

Bonnie I'm sorry yesterday was craptastic for you. Here's to a new day. Your day today sounds like a fun one. I love riding roller coasters. We used to have a Six Flags in New Orleans but it has closed. We had season passes and I took the kids there all the time. Great fun!

Wilma have you caught up on all the laundry from your trip. That's always the best part of coming home. NOT!

Becca cute story. I guess you've got to give him kuddos for getting out there and still being independent.

Hi Judi.

I started yesterday. I took out all my WW stuff and just jumped right back on program. I think I was ready. I haven't rejoined, just trying it again on my own. I'll give it a week or two and if I can't get "in the zone" then I'll go back. I took a little break from it and I just felt like I was ready to do it again. We'll see.

Yep, you can do it. Gives ya more free time if you don't have to go to the meetings. I mean, that's a hour you can spend at Wally world.

I think I'm a little more focused when I know I have to go someplace to weigh in. Reality is that if I'm going to do this long term I need to really try it on my own. I can't be going to the meetings forever. I guess it's just a mind set and I need to get it in this thick skull of mine.

How the weather up by you Judi? We are still very hot and humid here.

WW is a lifestyle change, so you're right, can't do meetings forever. Well doesn't AA think your spose to do meeting forever.

Good Morning everyone...update on bratty kid. No he isn' t home yet...I called last night and my SIL said nahhhh he still isn't home yet. Do you think that he ever cares? DD said that he is at a friends but the parents are not very nice people. Alladin18 was his screen name and he isn't on any more.
I have just been crying myself to sleep when I do get a little. I want to go and get him (if I could find him) and bring him home. Now he told DD that he isn't going to sign up for school either. Everything just seems to going wrong.
