Hi hags!
Six Flags kinda sucked.
It was so hot and smelled like serious B.O. and was filled with teenagers who cussed up a storm. There were some fun coasters but Ainslee was not tall enough for some of them and she was devastated. she can ride everything at WDW (48" height requirement), but some of the six flags coasters have a 54" min height requirement and she's not that tall yet. And there were a few rides that Caitlin was too scared to ride. Ains was like, "Mommy this place is for big kids over 10, not for little kids who are only 7." True dat. We also spent a lot of time waiting in line for the concert and then attending the concert. So after the concert I told them they were the bosses for the rest of the time and we'd do what they wanted to do, so they chose the water park. So we go clear back to the locker to get our swim suits on and head over there. Only to discover that the water park area had closed 15 min. prior.
Poor Ainslee and Caitlin, it wasn't much fun for them.
So THEN, on the way home, our car breaks down! Not fun being stranded in Maryland on the side of the road with three kids. We had to call AAA and get towed to Alexandria, where Brent met us and drove us home. So lame.
The cool thing though is that we saw Kim (the lesbian) from America's Next Top Model! That was fun, I love that chick. Also saw the band members from the concert throughout the park, always escorted by security and being mobbed by fans. The groups were Katy Perry, Metro Station, Boys like Girls and one more which I am forgetting. It was exciting to see them, Heather was loving it.
Ok, I am finished being Eeyore! I just know that today will be an excellent day! It has to be better, right?
How are you girls doing? What's new with everyone?
Shirley, prayers being said for you and your grandson. Keep us posted, okay, hag?
