Good morning! Hope you're all enjoying your Tuesday.

I read the NOLA thread yesterday; wow some people are so opinionated and down right rude! I would LOVE to go there. That is definitely one of the places DH and I want to try and visit in the next few years. The food alone would be incredible. I just think that NOLA is a completely unique city-we have nothing else like it in the US.

We had to have the "you can't come to work looking like you just rolled out of bed" talk with our receptionist yesterday. AWKWARD!!! Honestly, when I was her age (19) I wouldn't have been caught dead out in public without full make-up and my hair done (I'm not so anal about it now!!). A lot of the girls today seem to think nothing of heading to Wal-Mart in their jammies and slippers with their hair just pulled up in a ponytail. Now come on-can't you at least COMB it before you put it up?? How about putting on some clean clothes instead of whatever wrinkled dirty outfit you picked up off the floor?? Man-I sound old, huh??

Hey hags! I can't believe I am not a total stress case today, but for some reason, I'm not. The party starts in a couple hours and I have not really planned what we are doing. But I ain't stressed. The kids all have leis and we made grass skirts out of green butcher paper, and they will be singing two songs for the parents and eating chow. We may or may not do a limbo contest. Don't know, don't care. I'm tired of stressing! I think the parents will over look my poor planning when I give them their memory books. Looking at the books will keep them entertained, I think!

Hey Sassys! I finally got my internet back working. Its amazing what I can get done when it doesn't work. The storms are finally past us now for awhile so I'm happy about that!

Bonnie, thanks for getting me hooked on the Twilight series. I'm about to finish New Moon and then its a book run for the next one.

Angie, I agree about your receptionist. How many times before she will be fired? I have 2 chapters of New Moon to go. I don't really want to buy Eclipse because I can only find it in a hardcover so I may drive to the library to get that one. I read fast when something interests me.

Judi and Cole, hows it going? Did you blow or float away yet?

Rella, hey lady! Haven't seen you around. I getcha about being busy, it's nuts here!

Today is the last half day of school for the boys. All they are doing today is the school talent show, I almost let them skip it but changed my mind. Plus Justin left his backpack and raincoat there yesterday so he has to retrieve them.

Good morning, ladies! I am one well-rested sassy! It's amazing what a difference and hour and a half makes.

Becca - hooray, you are here! I hadn't seen you in a while and was getting concerned. Did you lose your internet in the storms? Aren't you glad it's the last day? We had a swim team meeting last night and the director wanted to talk about all of the activities we have going on in the fall. I refuse to think about any of it at the moment. I just want to enjoy my summer for a week or two, then you all can have my brain back! Have your boys restarted swimming yet?

Judi - we haven't had a Mom update in a while - how are things?

Bonnie and Angie - I had a long night at the Pie hole last night due to a beet invasion - check it out.

I made chicken for dinner last night, but I miscounted and didn't cook enough. I remembered I have an extra mouth to feed right now, but still didn't add an extra piece of chicken. I can't believe I did that.

I didn't have any internet service yesterday? I'm not sure why and I even called the help desk for our provider and they couldn't help me and didn't really know what the problem was. They scheduled a tech help guy to come out this morning. Last night out of the blue I had internet again. So now I need to play catch up.
