This is going to be a hard question.
I have fallen out with the person who I stayed with on my last trip to disney they took me to a bakery that mostly sold strange but lovely flavors of bread on the way to a shopping center casino with a big fountain?? In san diego. It was quite a long drive actually.
Best bread I've ever had I'd like to re visit or try and find the flavors to make them as my partner is a chef

Anyone know the place?

Was it Dudley's? I don't go to casinos, but I drive by Dudleys when headed to Julian. https://dudleysbakery.com/

Most likely Dudleys now that Bread Basket is gone. They do fundraisers and I always get some from people selling it for their kids. Love the Cinnamon swirl bread and the jalapeño cheese, and french toast made from the hawaiian sweet bread is amazing. Dudleys is in Santa Ysabel. They make sandwiches wtc with the fresh bread and there is a cool gift shop there too. I'm trying to figure out which casino it was though. I am guessing the Casino was either Barona or Viejas. Barona is closer to the Ramona way, Viejas would be more if you went to Julian via the 8.

Looks like it is still open according to the website

Dudleys? Yeah thats not going anywhere, kind of a SD establishment bakery. People drive an hour+ to go there or nearby Julian for apple pie, gold mines, wineries etc.
