Ok Peeps,

Here you go. These pictures are actually from the same sunset, just a few seconds apart. For the second one, I actually focused the camera on the dark woods below the sunset and then brought the horizon into the shot.

And the Second shot:

Very nice. You might think about cropping to bring the horizon down to the 1/3 point. It is almost there in the first one, but due to the darkening of the second, the horizon of the image moved up.

They are both great but the colours in the second one are amazing!:thumbsup2

Good Job Matt! Hope you doing better from your wreck. :guilty: This is actually a really good example of exposure settings on the camera. On the first one the camera set the exposure for the sky, you can tell because of the added details in the clouds, etc. On the second, the camera (since you focused on the woods which are much much darker) the details are lost in the clouds, but the colors are darker as well due to the exposure settings. I do think you should crop the bottom one a little, to show what you want noticed more, the woods or the sky. Nice pics though. :thumbsup2

I thought about that (cropping) but Abigail got up at 4:30 this morning and I didnt have time to finish it off before she started screaming. Thanks everyone, for the comments and criticizm.
