My daughters are sailing out of Galveston on January 2nd. Their cruise was paid in full in September and in theory we can do online check in starting on November 30.

We all have tried and tried and tried, from the computer, the ipads, phones and we always get that check in is unavailable.

I called DCL and they just said to arrive after 2:00 pm, which is very frustrating since we were aiming for an ealier boarding time and not getting a chance to do it. Every minute aboard is precious for my daughters and it is a bummer to lose so much time because an issue with the website.

Mostly I am worried because one of my daughters is 15 and I don´t know if adding that to not doing the check in previously will make the process hader.

Anyone has any suggestions of have had someone help with check in?

TIA

If Disney can't help you, I'm not sure we can. Who is sailing? Are you sailing and trying to check in or who is trying to complete the check in? Multiple rooms or one room? Do you have a screenshot of the error?

Not able to do online check-in ahead of the cruise won't have an impact on your daughter's ability to do anything. Kids Club registration is needed only for Oceaneer.

As for DCL suggesting a 2pm arrival... what I will say is that after 12:30pm or so, it usually becomes "open PAT/Boarding" as the heavy volume of arrival and boarding is closer to 11:15am-12pm

So, is it just your daughters that are sailing? And it is their reservation correct? I do know that if the parent of a minor is not sailing with them, some sort of letter of permission is required. But I personally have never had to deal with that issue, so maybe someone else can chime in with details on that part.

By any chance, did you try clearing your computer cookies? Sometimes that works miracles.
Otherwise, I do think another call should be made to DCL , by your adult daughter whose name the reservation is in (maybe with you present and the call on speaker phone perhaps) to inquire exactly WHY online checkin is not available to them. Does DCL show that the cruise is paid in full?

Check to be sure that you are definitively paid in full. While it has not happened to me, I have heard stories from a couple people that they thought they had paid in full but then minor charges were added so they were no longer paid in full. They were usually pretty minor, sometimes less than a couple of dollars due to port fees. But, if there's any balance on the account, regardless of how small, the system will consider it not paid in full.

If that is the case, it's a little surprising the CM couldn't tell you that. But sometimes CMs are a little clueless.
