Sailing from Copenhagen in August on the Magic

Just a rant.

Is anyone else here on the Northern Europe Sailing from Copenhagen on the Magic?
Original Itinerary:
Tallin
St. Pete
Helsinki
Stockholm

Changed to (obviously dropping St. Pete)
Oslo
Gothenburg
Alesund
Fredericia

I understand dropping Russia, but it is quite the drastic itinerary change.

I don't want to cancel , as we already have Europe trip planned around the cruise, but feeling pretty let down.

At one point I was booked on that cruise. I would be let down with that. I think they did a good job with the 11-day cruise, but I don't know about that one. It's too bad they couldn't have added Amsterdam or Brussels instead of Norway. Norway's great, but I'd rather do a full Norway, Iceland cruise. Can you switch to another cruise or change your plans?

We are on that trip as well. My only thought is that they are trying to move us farther from what is going on with
Russia and Ukraine. I have never been to Europe and while I was hoping we could arrange a trip to Poland after the cruise,
I am just staying positive and happy that I will be with family. This has been such a strange few years and at this point I just hope we get to go. I am sorry the changes have negatively impacted you, I understand your disappointment, I hope you still have a good time.

Ukraine is nowhere near the Baltics.

Did you decide to stay on this cruise? We are on it and also have trips planned around the cruise. I’m being optimistic and plan on relaxing as much as we can on the short port days and sea days. We’re doing Scotland before, Paris and Northern Ireland after. What are your plans?

Yep, we decided to stick with it and enjoy it despite the less than optimal destinations. In Fredericia we are renting a car and heading to Legoland, in Gothenburg we'll be doing Maritman, in Alesund the Atlantic Sea Park, and in Oslo a bunch of sightseeing + the Science and Tech Museum and the Resistance Museum.
We understand the circumstance around the changes, and will probably book an RCL Northern Europe for next summer.

We are doing Paris before the Cruise and Belgium afterwards
