it's also true that pushchairs in the UK are generally more expensive than in the US, so Maclarens are near the bottom end of the market. The $20 stroller from Walmart just doesn't exist over here. We can get very very cheap umbrella pushchairs, but for anythign you would actually want to use, you are looking at at least £80.

I read about them on here so often as a rare or luxury brand, that the other day in teh school yard I took a look around, and I think that more than 50% of the strollers in the yard were maclarens.
