S. African wine at AKV

I'm staying at AKV this weekend. It's my second trip to the lodge. I seem to remember that you can purchase wine from the quick service food area.... I could be wrong about that. Anyone ever buy a bottle of wine on site to take up to their room? Is it any better wine then turning leaf or should I just add on to my garden grocer order.

I saw bottles of S African wine for sale at the Mara. We didn't buy any there, we bought at Publix, didn't know there would be some available, but now I wish we had tried those!

Yes, there is S. African wine in the AKl store and it is a step or 2 above Turning Leaf. It's a little more pricey of course, but worth it. You can buy it to take to your room. If you eat at Jiko's, and don't finish a bottle or just want another bottle, you can take that to your room also.
