Two weeks since I have done an update to this TR?

I am falling down on the job I think!
Ok, so lets refresh our memories a bit... I left off at the end of the very long 1/11. We ran the half on little sleep and I ended up barely eating anything all day. Finally our celebratory dinner was an epic fail. Ok... remember now? Good.....
So the next morning I was not going to let a little need for sleep get in my way. I had an ADR planned for one of my favorite pre RD breakfasts. I had made it for more people, but sadly the only other person I could rally was Zoe.
So off we went to AK. It was the day of the marathon so we took a different route into the parking lot. (in fact, I think we may have been dropped off somewhere different) Even though we had an ADR to get to, we stopped to

for all the runners who were running by. It was so fun! I loved seeing them all. I believe AK is about the half way point in the marathon so I knew that they were probably all getting a bit tired at that point.
We couldn't linger too long though because our reservation was soon. So we made our way into the park. We stopped for a picture.
or two
I appreciate an empty MK. I really do.. but I really adore an empty AK.
Not a bad shot if only I had a better camera with a lens that would have zoomed in.
We got checked in for breakfast and soon it was time for our picture to be taken. Not sure why Donald is no longer outside for pictures... and while I appreciate a pp pic... I hardly think offering this one in a print is worth the money they ask for it.
We were seated in a great spot! Our server was super helpful and friendly. Now it was time for food!!!
I think I may have made up for my lack of food the day before. I know I had more than one plate and the yogurt...OMG! I am sure I had 2 bowls!!!
The characters came around...not once, but twice and there were so few people around that they spent extra time with us. It was awesome! Even the server had little to do and spent time with us.
Then Donald came around.

He was impressed by "his" medal that I was wearing.
It was time to wrap up breakfast. We had such a good time eating and playing around with characters. Our server even had a bit of fun... I thought he was going to make the mom at the table next to me upset. I couldn't help but listen in on the conversation. See, I had allowed Zoe to go to the restroom by herself. She knew where it was and the restaurant was not all that busy. However, when the gal next to me asked where the restroom was I tuned in to the servers response. He told her that due to construction in order to use the restroom you have to go outside the restaurant...(ok,

gotta listen now for sure cause Zoe!) He went on..giving her tid bits of "you go here.. then there" While I was thinking

She was listening very intently like she had to catch every twist and turn but I could tell she was getting irritated that she was going to have to make such a trek. Then he told her something like...once you get to the front of the park..you exit out.... That is where I literally

They both looked at me. I apologized for listening and for my outburst. I explained my dd was in the restroom so when I overheard there was a change I took note of what was being said. I also mentioned being "with him" until he started to really get away from the restaurant and when he got to the front of the park... that is where I just lost it.
The park had officially opened by this time and Kira and Josh had made it in. They went on EE a couple times while they waited for Zoe and I.

Notice in the first one the marathon runners? How cool is that that some of them stopped to ride EE? According to Kira, the cm's let the runners on ahead of anyone else. It was like a free pass for them. I think they deserved it!!
