Well the play at school was interesting.They write a musical each fall and spring (DD is in the writers workshop). This one was the Magnificent Marvelous Multifarious Music Machine. Not as much acting as singing but DD was a dancer this time and she had a good time. And since it is her last production at elementary school, it was kind of bittersweet. She wants to join drama in middle school next year, we shall see.

So today is an off day exercise wise, so no extra points there. ETA: was not going to do anything, but DD and I walked for 2 pts

Yesterday was good-I really stayed on plan and did some walking I hadn't figured I was going to do. Stayed up too late though, so it was tough to get out of bed this morning. But I did, and did the sprints on the mill again. I tried to go 8mph, but it is just too fast for me at this point, so I went back to 7mph. Much better. I will have to try increments from there, so maybe next week I will try 7.2.

I really enjoy my Friday job. Nice people, relaxed atmosphere and free lunch. How can you go wrong? One of our patients brought us lunch again (same pt as last week). This time it was salad, chicken and rice and homemade bread. The rice had spinach and carrots in it and was yumm-o, and that is saying something since I really am not a big fan of rice. All her food is cooked fresh, she is wonderul. But I wasn't terribly hungry for dinner, so I just had a bowl of cereal. Then at 8pm I was starving, so I ended up having the stupid popcorn again. I think I am going to make Friday my "splurge" day, and try to stay on daily/activity points the rest of the time, and save those flex for Friday.

Ran this morning: 3 miles in 29:44 WOOHOO:woohoo: First time I have ever broken the 30 minute mark. I was jazzed, once the nausea and dizziness went away:rolleyes1

Another fantastic run today. I have to say that making the decision to run by myself without my inlaws is one of the best things I have ever done for myself. I am running faster, feel better and am allowing myself walk breaks when necessary (something I could never do with my inlaws). So today I ran 5 miles in 53:03, a 10:36 pace. And that was with 3 short walk breaks. FIL called me after I got home to ask where I was, they saw my car (I started at a different spot than them). DH had told him I would be running Saturdays (which I will once I start my new training program). He said he will call me to see if I want to run with them, but I have to say I just don't think I want to.

So my run earned me 7 exercise points.

weight: down to 165.8:cool1::cool1: a 1.4 lb loss from last week. I am now 1.4 lbs from my lowest weight 2.5 yrs ago. I am hoping to pass that next week and keep on going down!!

Yesterday was kind of busy too, where do my weekends go? I ran 5 miles, went and volunteered at the sports and fitness expo, came home, did stuff, made dinner, walked the dog and then DH and I did 3 podcast episodes we had to make up (we were behind schedule). Then called our friend in LA to discuss next years vacation plans, since we are trying to figure out a Plan B. Didn't get to bed until 11:30. UGH. I am beat. Now back to work. Going to bed early tonight.

I did get my new training plan, it looks good, I start on the 24th of May. I am trying to get into that cycle of exercising, and since Monday and Friday are the off days, I did not walk or run this morning. So no exercise points.

A bit sore from yesterdays yard work, but that did not stop me from getting out to run 8 miles this morning. Its great to go out in shorts and t shirt instead of tights and layers. Felt good, took my short walk breaks when needed. Ran it in 1:29, so 11:07 avg pace. Not too bad. More yard work on tap today once DH is back from his walk.

I had the donut at work, our patient brings them from the local Italian bakery every 6 months when she comes for her cleaning. I chose the plain cake donut as it was probably the least "bad" Boy was it good!! So I will use a couple flex points for it, no worries.

Ok so I hit the flex points hard-stressful day dealing with DD, who 1/2 day in school suspension for calling someone a deragatory name, though the person she called the name was not the appropriate ethnicity and DD did not know what the word meant. So I ate too much, but I am going to walk on the TM with DD here in a little while.

Rainy morning today, was absolutely pouring. DD was supposed to go to golf clinic, but they are postponing until next week. So we left early for Walmart to shop, dropped her off at TKD, went home to put away groceries and pick up the dog. Took dog to PetSmart to make appts for grooming and vet check and buy some stuff. Then back to TKD to pick up DD. Then DH called about lunch, wanted Taco Bell again. Ok, so drive thru there and head home. Unfortunately, they made my tacos wrong (regular instead of fresco style, didn't know it until I got home :mad:). So I had to suck it up and eat em anyway.

Next weeks Sunday is my last long on Sunday, then I switch to Saturdays. The first couple weeks of the plan I do not run on Sunday at all, how nice it will be to be able to sleep in on a weekend!! Hoping that this week becomes a maintain, hopefully not a gain tomorrow. And even if so, well, I am still doing well, just have to get back on track.
