I could get stuck on a normal ride with no issue but definitely not a rollercoaster. We've been stuck on Peter Pan and Haunted Mansion several times for a long time but never had to get out. I think getting out would scare me.

Sooo.. are we thinking ROL will start right after JB? Because if I don't get to see either on my September trip, it will be ugly.

It is believed that ROL will start as soon as they fix all the technical issues. The JB show is just a placeholder until they get ROL up and running. You should see one or the other in September.

Off topic - they just opened Star Wars dessert parties for every night for the last 2 weeks of June. Looks like fireworks will be nightly from the 17th on.

As a heads up, thanks to rlk (who has been fab) I released a 8am normal TH reservation to get the one released by rlk for 4 people. When I checked my 8am had then been converted to a jungle book package which I grabbed back as it was for the 5 people I needed.
I can't say it will happen all the time but it suggests that some normal reservations will be converted to jungle book packages. Perhaps on the days that had limited package availability.
I hope it helps some fellow ROL fanatics.

Thank you! I am still trying. Part of the problem is our plans are so set I only want that day 6/7 and around 10:30. Regardless, there is absolutely nothing available for breakfast at TH - regular ressie or pkg - that morning! So I'm not sure I'm gonna get anything. I do have the FP though, so that'll do it if nothing else!

Does anyone think I've got any chance of getting a 8am booking at Th now? Despite trying for hours before and after release I only got the 10.40 which I thought might be ok but I've since read that there will be little breakfast items out at that time as they will be starting to put lunch out and the kids would be gutted not to get the tusker breakfast.

I'd grab the 10:40 so you have something and then keep trying for and earlier one. That's what I did with BOG when my dh decided he wanted dinner there well after our 180 day mark. I started with 9pm and little by little 3 moves I now have a 7pm not perfect but not bad. Good luck

I think someone commented on the dibb to me that when they went there was little left of breakfast. I do feel though that if you have booked breakfast and there is little there they will cook what you ask for if you pull them up on it. I was prepared to do that as the kids wouldn't eat the lunch items although I thought they looked quite nice (just maybe not at 10.40!)
I am pleased I have got my original 8am back again and did wonder about trying that but was unsure until I got the option through rlk. The CM's obviously don't know this as I asked one earlier this evening about this possibility and she didn't have a clue.
I do hope you get one though as you have been on here advising so much you deserve one!

I know what you mean, it is so hard to fit things in at AK especially if your doing some of the shows.

Thank you! Yes, I'm thinking that if we prefer breakfast items they should make sure we have them! I'm hoping to check in about 10:30 so maybe we will be seated a tad early.

I wish I could be more optimistic for you, but we had a 10:35 reservation last September and did not feel we had enough time with just the breakfast stuff before they began transitioning to lunch. They moved some of the breakfast items to the middle "island" but none of us got enough breakfast to eat. Now, we were anticipating also trying the lunch so we were okay with it, but my family has informed me that we must eat earlier if we go again. I would suggest you just don't be shy about taking more than one plate on your first run through just in case.

Don't cancel your existing ADR, just book the new one. You'll get an alert to cancel while booking, but the dining system will hold your current ressie until the new one is booked. No risk

I'm in the same boat. I called on Saturday and they couldn't help but maybe now with more info about the situation, they could. I have the FP so I don't think I'll try the cancel option.

Thanks everyone. I was able to get a FP for JB so, I guess I'll stick with the regular ADR at TH. When I called, I got the same answer that they were unable to convert to a JB pkg.

We leave tomorrow! This has certainly been one of the more stressful Disney vacations to plan with so much uncertainty. This has been such a fun group to follow, and I thank all of you for the laughs as well as sharing information.

ETA: On a whim, I decided to try one last time to get the TH JB pkg, and I DID!! I was so shocked that a 4:05 and 6:30 time both showed up for my party of 5 on 5/29. After 2 straight days of constantly checking my persistence has paid off. I was able to switch my JB FP back to Kali River!

Now if we can catch Frozen Ever After in soft openings all of my Disney dreams will come true. I know that's a long shot, but a girl can dream, right?

Have you heard anything related with the tips being included in the Pkg? if so it's a better option than the ADR + FP+ or ADR+show up.
