The good thing is I have a FP for it. So no huge issue if I can't get the pkg. and I'm hearing that the FP seats/side is better though I have no idea how this is known. And even though I gave up my EE FP for JB, I have an anytime FP I can use for EE that day.

So....one of my MK days is Friday, May 27th - The Wishes fireworks are at 9 p.m. with only one MSEP. This has never changed although every date around it has changed. (This would have originally been the 24 hour day if it had happened.) Anyone know if that is the actual time? @yulilin3 or someone else, is there any way you could check a times guide for it?

Whew! You all have been busy. Glad most of you got what you were looking for and hope it works out for the rest. I will work on a trip report when I get home. I am at a conference now. Going to IOA Harry Potter Hogsmeade tonite. I have to say I got some awesome pics with my iPhone.

Ok, so after being up from 3:00-4:30 am to get my JB ADRs for TH booked...I'm exhausted. I had to leave this morning as we are sailing for the weekend. I managed to finally snag a FP for Frozen this afternoon on the boat.
I've been looking when I can to watch for SW dessert packages. Haven't seen any for July yet...any word on that at all?

As for me, I have learned my lesson.. Don't assume anything of "what" and "when" unless the Disney Blog says so. The fact that JB dining pkg is available until early Sept shows that ROL will not be running this summer, not until Labor Day Weekend at least. My theory is that JB is a practice run for ROL. If JB show is successful and AK at night attracts enough ppl, ROL will go.

Good idea, but you're still making assumptions. The DPB did not announce an end time for the JB show, only a beginning. For example, although the JB dining packages are available through Sept 5, we know from very recent experience that booking something with one name doesn't mean the name can't be changed after the fact. Last week, people were able to book dessert parties for the SW fireworks through the end of June. After that, the DPB announced that the new fireworks show would begin June 17, even though just days earlier it had looked like it wouldn't begin until after the end of June since people were booking dessert parties for the old fireworks. See what I mean? Anyway, I agree it is likely the JB show will run through the summer and ROL will hopefully begin by September, but I also suspect they'll start it sooner if they solve whatever problems they're having.

I would assume nothing!! It's like the only constant thing at WDW these days is change... change in schedules, that is!!!

I could see the JB packages magically becoming RoL packages if that show is ready to go sooner. I could also see JB being extended if the show isn't ready. I could also see the switchover being Sept 6.

Having followed this (way too) closely for months, I don't think the JB show is a test to see if RoL will be viable. I think it's simply a placeholder because RoL wasn't ready to go.

SO .... went to SW to see "animals" today. Cheap tickets. Never been on the coasters. Just DS2 and I so no one to sit out. WELL Loungers I never thought I'd get the chance to see RoL.

Manta, kept lifting and dropping and finally decided our train was broken so moved us to other. I should have quit while ahead. Next Kraken. Got to TOP of huge lift hill and stopped. Hot sun, hungry and I am MORTIFIED of heights. I can do coasters cause they move. Since the Busch Gardens thing a few weeks ago - many convo on how they would get me off. I won't let you near me. It was like karma. After 10 minutes I was doing some heavy trying to chill myself. Terrified we'd have to walk down the steps that you can see through.

Finally after about 25 minutes of working my tan, they announced we were moving. They met us with ice water and multiple re-ads. Great ride but yeah my coaster days (minus RnR) could be over.

This was where I had my near death experience ...

Glad you made it down safely! That would certainly end my rollercoaster days.
