I heard it from a friend of a CM's friend who once house sat for the guy who did the maintenance for the gal who ran the Catering truck at the Studio....

Thanks so much, Keith! I'm embarrassed to say I haven't seen the new Star Wars movie. That's more of my husband and sons' area of interest. I'm more of a Winnie the Pooh fan.

Thanks, I was one of those who got a call back after emailing "George". Just like Jlundeen said, the customer representative was very nice and assured me that information will be posted on the blog this Saturday. I told him I was concerned that I would miss the opportunity to make dining reservations because I will be out of the country starting April 19. Again he assured me that I will be able to make them before that time. I am hopeful, but also understand that things change and sometimes fall apart, especially with Disney planning.

If that's what you want, a while back they posted a great video on the Blog about the making of the "Springs" part of Disney Springs and the techniques used to form, paint and spray the CONCRETE...or am I taking you too literally...just trying to help

Yes, there is so much regurgitation of information it's sickening (pun intended). This is beyond ridiculous at this point.

The title of my new book: Crazy CMs or Is it Me, and Where do I Get These People?
I work in an environment that has no internet and no wifi. I use my phone, but it loads slow, and with no wifi it runs the battery down. So, on my 35 minute commute home, I make my nightly call to Disney Dining to enquire about ROL packages. CM says, no, not available yet because Tiffins isn't open yet. I tell her Tiffins isn't scheduled to open until summer and is that the only restaurant with packages? Yes. So I say no fast passes and no TH packages with VIP seating? The answer is no and this is where it gets interesting. The CM: "You see, AK will continue to close early and the ROL will be a special ticketed after hours event, like MVMCP and MNSSHP. Watch the blogs, because tickets will be limited". I ask if this will be a ticket on top of the admission ticket to the park? "Yes. Is there anything else I can help you with?" With visions of my tickets being cancelled (thus my fps I so diligently set up at 12 am) so I can add a day, and all my perfect ADRs being cancelled in order to upgrade to the dining plan, Um, no?

Forgive my ignorance... I pop in often to see if any new info is available. You guys are hilarious, btw...

Is the above the lastest info or do we think it is a misinformed cm? I honestly wouldn't be surprised if it were true given all the nickel and diming going on lately.

I vote misinformed CM. I don't know why the Parks blog would have posted that they anticipate FP and dining packages if it were going to be a paid event closed to regular day visitors.

@yulilin3 are you still lurking around here? Can't see the info your SW thread but since it has come up - are SW fireworks running the first week of May? I thought they weren't scheduled after April 30th.

This is what is posted on the HUB (internal CM site) and it's the only info I'm relying on at this point:
April 19th there will be a promo event called Awaken Summer, it doesn't say who's invited but I'm thinking travel agencies and bloggers (this is my thinking). Same event will happen at DHS the day before (April 18th) and take over the dessert party, this is why the dessert party for fireworks shows unavailable that day at DHS
No word on CM or AP previews, the preview events that were showing up are cancelled
It still shows as April 22nd for RoL opening day
As a PP the regurgitation of info is ridiculous and most sites are just looking for clicks

Hi Everyone! I've been a lurker from page 1 and can't get enough of all this hootenanny! I finally decided to chime in because I, too, was received a call from guest relations after sending an email to "George". And, like other posters, I was also told to watch the blog on April 2nd! Keeping my fingers crossed and totally enjoying everyone's comments on other blog posts in the meantime!

Wife just received note from CM who's part of RoL show (my wife teaches with her mother and knows we're going to AK at end of April).... official open is STILL April 22nd. No delay. No word on sneak previews yet.

Seems like the confirmations were made yesterday...So that's a good sign, and I'd expect FP/ADR sooner than later.
