RUMOR: Disney World Will Limit Guests to One Theme Park Per Day

Imagine having one shot at Rise of the Resistance. If something goes wrong on your one HS day, too bad- guess you’ll have to try next trip.
We had to planned to have Hoppers for our upcoming trip to give us 8 chances for getting on ROTR. We changed to regular tickets weeks ago when we saw ths writing on the wall.

It’s possible that without the Hopping audience and with set capacity ROTR will become standby (or at least there will be fewer people trying to get a boarding group and might help your odds.)

We had a 3-day Hopper+ but OK w spending 1 day per park assuming we get the refunded difference. Still bummed about the Water Parks tho...

Rumor and speculation until confirmed by Disney. I wouldn’t cancel a November trip over it just yet.
Agreed, but if that is what they are telling TA's, expect it to be announced in the next week or so.

Various places. It makes its way to the main ops thread though.
Just as a note - it's a bit difficult to keep up on that thread considering it's now 1200+ pages, and usually gains at least 10+ pages per day. This was news to me (although I'd assumed it would happen) as I gave up on that thread over a week ago. So thanks, OP!

That’s why we have the news only thread. This news was put there.

Me too. I've been trying to keep up, but "various places" seem to disappear. Also, I'm not sure if the search is broken on the site or not, but I couldn't see anyone point to a solid source like Blog Mickey did. This seems like legit news vs what people have assumed would happen

This is more of a problem with Disneyland (f they do the same 1 park per day with Disneyland) but it will be very interesting to see what they do to AP's since the terms have changed so much....some things that might happen (just throwing out ideas)

1. Offer a refund of the entire length left on people's AP's from the date Disney World / Land closed from COVID if people want it
2. Give people with higher tier AP's the ability to make multiple reservations (or more than the lower tiers)
2. Do nothing, offer not refund or discount

2020 is a bad year to go to WDW without seriously managing expectations about what you will and won't get to do. Definitely geared more towards the people who just want to breathe WDW air and aren't concerned with the finer details.

There's going to be a lot of oh well, we'll ride it, eat it, see it, stay there (etc.) next time.

Post-march. I was there in January for marathon weekend and had a great time including 3 times on ROTR by park hopping.

Sometimes it is hard to remember there was a part of 2020 that wasn't a flaming pile of garbage. Yes, pre-March excluded lol.
