Ok, a while back someone offered to move swappers to new swaps so we could close swaps a little sooner. Whoever volunteered (MAHAHAHAHA) step forward and accept your punishment! Poor souls should never volunteer to help me, ask NELEP, disneynuts777, and michael's mom. Their lives have never been the same!

If you were already in the swap before the rule changes...you are fine. The new post/tenure rule only applies to new swappers.

The only ppl who have been removed are the ones who I have sent PM's to and they went unread for 3+ weeks. If you haven't been on DISBOARDS in three weeks and have low posts, you will be removed.

I will be doing this once a month just to insure that swappers are indeed still wanting to use the strollers AND they are active members of DISBOARDS. Sorry if this upsets someone, but my main concern is the welfare of the strollers AND the swappers after you.

UPDATE ON A STROLLER
THIS IS STROLLER #4

Maddi, I really think someone took the nice new stroller, because I was reading that your phone number was supposed to be on there and it wasn't because I looked, there was no markings to identify it with your wonderful swap. I asked my husband what was wrong and he said that the black tab on the right side to hold the bar in place is broken, so it comes forward and then pulls back easily pinching the kids arms. We used the stroller one day and after what happened with Cami's arm, we didn't use it anymore.

She is going to send pictures over as soon as she gets them uploaded.

This is the stroller that caused all the hub-bub earlier this week. I did order a new axle and wheel I didn't know anything about the black thing on the side that holds the front bar in place.

So we will need to replace the back thing that holds the front bar.

Also, I am having reservations about letting OFF SITE swappers use the strollers. #3 and #4 was used offsite by two two swappers back to back. I wonder if...and this is a huge if because of something msreneau said...if the strollers aren't fitting in the back of the vehicles and they are being hit HARD to close the lids of trunks or the back of the SUV's.

I think we need to consider making this for ONSITE only for future swappers also. What do you guys think?

Also, anyone interested in donating the little black piece that sits on the frame that holds the bar in place?

OK, here are somethings that is needed:

SWAPS #3, #4, and #5--can someone look at the front wheel? This are a different design than #1 and #2. There is a screw that can be tightened on that holds the wheel on the rod/axle and a screw that holds the rod into the hollow casing on the stroller. I need someone to check to make sure they haven't worked themselves loose, this can definitely be causing the wobbliness...is that even a word?

SWAPS #1, #2, #3, #4, #5--I need a detailed list of what accessories are with the strollers. It has been reported that there is nothing with #3 and #4.

In all seriousness - I'm so sorry that there has been mis-use, abuse, and disrespect for Maddi. From what I've read, and I've been reading alot, she is a truly dedicated person who cares about all of us here.

I know I don't post a lot, but I've been lurking on and off for years (I think I had a different name when I first joined and then couldn't remember my password), and I would really have been disappointed if I had been excluded because of my post count.

I think the new rules that you've put in place are fair for everyone given the current situation. And I take the pledge that Nelep put out there a 100 pages ago.. I will treat my RC with respect and will pass it on to the next swapper in 'as good' or better condition than I received it, God Willing.

Okay, I'm done. Maddi..... You are amazing! Big for everything you do for us meager newbies.

Maddi, the black thing is not on the front bar, but on the side bar, It is where the stroller folds up. And when you unfold it, the black tab pops up to lock the bar in place. The tab is missing on the right side. Not safe, Cami's arm was pinched very bad in the area under her arm pit, I worried we were going to have to get stiches. I did not notice the broken backboard, but then again, I knew we had received the wrong stroller the minute it was delivered because it was supposed to be new and we got a very dirty, dingy stroller. I also wanted to say Thank you to you on the board because this service you are providing people is amazing. Who cares if you are making money(not that you are), you are also spending a lot of time doing this. I know I am new to the boards, but I just discovered them as well as my love for Disney, they also gave me some of the best secrets and ideas.

boy if you have a picture it would really help as I still don't have a visual of it. I don't mean to be daff...I just can't see it.

You know what erks me the most. That was a BRAND NEW STROLLER and it goes.

I'm going to start calling tomorrow and see if I can't locate ours. The first person to have it, as she took it done was msreneau and you were swapper #4...so if it is there, I'm going to find it!!
