Hi Swappers!
Yes - on site for new swappers should be a requirement. A few weeks ago, I looked into the size of the stroller and whether it would fit in the trunk of a small car. I'm pretty sure that it will NOT without taking it apart. So the broken bracket is probably from forcing the trunk closed. Or someone sitting on the closed stroller. Goodness!

Stay tuned. Parkers*Momma will let you know what this stroller needs and someone will have to donate it. She may have spare parts, though. Keep checking back. She may also need some help doing detective work to see if this is even the real RC4. :confused3

SOAP OPERA! Holy cow! :rotfl2:

sooo true! Maybe that is something WM Pete should consider

***HAZARDOUS TO YOUR HEALTH-YOU'LL HAVE A FLAT TUSHY AND NEED BI-FOCALS, YOUR HOUSE WILL BE A WRECK, YOUR CHILDREN HUNGRY, YOUR HUSBAND IGNORED, AND THE DOG WILL BE STANDING BY THE DOOR CROSSING HIS LEGS WHILE WIMPERING TO BE LEFT OUT IF YOU JOIN THIS FORUM****

:rotfl2:
Here's my to do list:
1. Get a cushion for this chair!
2. Hire a housekeeper
3. Buy some more frozen pizzas
4. Find a babysitter for my kids
5. And stop calling my husband and kids DH, DD7, DD5 and DD3 to their faces!

I'm pathetic. :rotfl:

Maddi,

I am so sorry that your having to not only keep things organized but now you have to play detective. It amazes me that someone would knowingly trade an old stroller for a new one. I hope it isn't true. I don't know if you have me down for stroller sitting but we will have plenty of room in our multiple rooms.

I was wondering, are there cleaning products you recommend using? I really want to clean them to help keep them in service longer. I wouldn't use any bleach cleaner but was wondering if the stuff you can use on carpets (that lifts the dirt up) would work and then use that disenfectant spray. Let me know what you think would work best or am I just being an obsessive compulsive germaphob:laughing:.

Dont know if you missed my post or not, but I can babysit RC *3 on my dates, ( june 30-July7) I have RC *1. We are at ASMo and the swapper before me is offsite so she can drop it for me at ASMo if that is okay.

Yes, I bet a carpet cleaner would work perfect. When I used it last September, I had clorex wipes for anything DD touched, I took out the pads and popped them in the washer at AS MOVIES, and a small can of LYSOL to spray the seats....So no you aren't a germaphob...that or we both are!

I do have to share this...whenever school starts I send in a HUGE bottle of hand sanitizer...whenever they start to get low DD will tell me and I buy another one and send it to school. Two weeks ago, our school had their annual inspection so the teacher hid the sanitizer as it is again the state school regulations. My Darlin' Deva got in the car and started digging all over in my purse. When I asked her what she was looking for she said "Momma, we didn't have any hand goop (that's what she calls it)I'm so germy I can feel them crawling all over my body!":rotfl: Needless to say I was ordered to buy a gallon for her class because she just can't stand the idea of touching things those cootie boys had touched and she had to do it ALL DAY LONG!

Kids are such a hoot!

WONDERFUL...yes I missed the post but I've got you down

THANK YOU!

Hi maddi. I mailed the seat for RC#4 this morning (priority mail). The eta is tuesday.

I am going to go ahead and ask for forgiveness :flower3: once again as we have changed our dates. Monday i am canceling our October trip and rescheduling back to June 6-14. My MIL bought us a good single stroller so we are ok. but if you need us to house a stroller for you then count me in.

My friend Cheryl still needs one june 3-13.

Debra

Wow!!!

I usually troll the Creative DISign sites and pop back over here every couple of weeks and check in. I usually just read and never post. Have sent Maddie a couple of PMs, but gosh...never expected all of this. I hope we can all pull together and keep this swap going. I know Maddie has put a ton of her own time into this and has sacrificed a lot for all of us and our families. Let's spread a little pixie dust :wizard: her way and see if we can keep this up at least through December!!! :goodvibes

Random Tip: The Enchanted Tiki Room - Under New Management

Ok. This is a REALLY random tip, not sure if it is worthy of post #9. But I thought I'd share anyway. (Cleaning out my brain this morning.)

The Enchanted Tiki Room in MK is a cute "show" full of mechanical birds and LOUD music. It's NOT a must see, but it's a really good attraction to see when you need a rest and air conditioning! Here's my tip - SIT IN THE BACK ROW! I know this is against human nature which is to rush in and get front row seats. But, really, the best place to see everything is in the back.

I don't post much on here but I read this board everyday during the week. Sometimes I think I read this more then I work. :surfweb: Don't tell the boss :rotfl2: I taking the family for the first time to disney Aug 6th to Aug 14th. I can't wait. I'm going with my boyfriend, his daughter and my daughter. At the same time my mom and her husband and 4 kids are going and my sister and her husband and her son, and my soon to be mother in law and her 2 grandkids also. 7 adults and 9 kids. Some how the kids have us out numbered. :confused3 . I'm so excited and I'm sure we will all have a blast.
I just wanted to say thanks to Maddi for everything she does to keep this swap going. We are flying down and not renting a car so we didn't want to have to bring a stroller or pay the hugh price to rent one. With 2 little kids on this trip this will make the days a lot smoother with a stroller. They would of been so craky if they were made to walk, or even worse I would be cranky if I had to carry them all day. So just wanted to stop by to give my thanks for everything you do. You are making our first trip to disney much more enjoyable for all of us!!

Is this avaialble from July 19-26
I will be at ASMU and would like to use it if possible. I have PM'd but got no response so far. It looks like the dates are open on the first page. Thanks for continuing to organize.

Hang in there! Parkers*Momma has been busy implementing the new swap guidelines, plus she has a full-time job during the day! :worship:

She'll see your post and get back to you soon! Thanks for being persistent!

Oh my goodness, I can't believe someone took RC #4. What? That's crazy.

If someone could say what RC #4 needs, I can donate something and bring it down when I go. I leave May 30th.
