ColeCamsMom Quick question...

the piece that is broken does it screw on or pop rivot on the frame?

I definitley think that you could only regret it if you dont limit the swap to onsite only. If you keep letting them stuff strollers in the vehicles, you will think later, "I should have limited the swap and just kept it from happening." this is usually the standard I use when trying to make hard decisions. Seems to work here.
I am so excited about my 1month and 5 days left! A little anxious about all three kiddos(and DH of course), but I am going to be prepapred!

ok this is what I sent down :) this exact stroller. The piece in red...is that the piece that is broke? It holds the front bar AND the spot where the stroller folds.

one more thing and this will definitely let me know if the stroller was indeed stolen and switched for an old stroller.

what did the tires look like? Did they have lots of tread? or smooth in the middle? Were they shiney or dull in color?

I agree. Onsite only. I don't want to exclude fellow Disney-lovers out there, but it always seem like when one person breaks the rules, we all have to pay. Know what I mean? It's just not fair. If you don't limit it now, you'll (we'll) regret it later.

I agree with onsite swappers only - though being onsite does not preclude one from renting (and using) a car to get around the parks. I think one PP suggested that it might be the 'jamming the trunk lid down' on the stroller that is causing the damage.

I'm sure it's that and just plain carelessness. I would never treat my own stuff that way, let alone someone else's stuff.

Okay, enough looking backward... Onward and Upward.

Miprender - it looks like rain. I thought it was supposed to be sunny and gorgeous today? Of course, I spent the entire night on this thread trying to catch up , so I totally missed the weather report. :surfweb:

Ok, a while back someone offered to move swappers to new swaps so we could close swaps a little sooner. Whoever volunteered (MAHAHAHAHA) step forward and accept your punishment! Poor souls should never volunteer to help me, ask NELEP, disneynuts777, and michael's mom. Their lives have never been the same!

Ok, that was me... I will start on it this weekend. :thumbsup2

princesses&pirates, tinkerbelle21, and LauralF22,

first I want to say THANK YOU! For newbies, you are showing the true DISBOARD addiction. Coming and posting, helping with decisions, and POSTING! One word of Warning...this place is addictive!!

I totally agree...my main concern is keeping the strollers safe and sound and to do this, there is definitely going to have to be strict limitations on the swap.

I really do appreciate your input and activity on the thread.

In response to your one word of warning... too late:laughing:
I now check the boards before I check my own emails.

Maybe there should be a warning label on the homepage.

PMomma a list that was with RC1 is:

1) The Tire Pump
2) The Fix a flat can
3) The Sunshade ( we never used it even though it was sunny everyday)
4) The mommyhook that I brought down (but again we never really used it)

I now have my kids begging DH to return next year. :rotfl:

LauraF22...the sun is out and it feels like Florida. :goodvibes

I'm sorry we can't help you in your search for a stroller. It's all explained in Post #1.

Plus ryan840 donated a rain cover. COOL! I'm heading out the door for work but as soon as I get home, I'll get it listed in the post for #1.

Thanks so much!!!

Maddi, that is the piece that was broken, the top part(tab) didn't work on the right side. My husband said the tires didn't look new.

ahhhh :rotfl: this is sooooo true, its the first place i come to when i get on my laptop :rotfl:

I also have to agree that onsite would definitely keep it no only in the disney system, but avoid any unnecessary transferring in cars, trunks, with other luggage, etc.

maddi, again a fantastic job!!!!:cheer2:

I would have to agree that limiting the swap to those who are onsite seems like a good idea, keeps things close to home so to speak. BTW, I am fine with switching strollers if there is something that works better. It would be nice to be able to pick it up at POP but I am switching anyway so it doesn't really matter 'cause I am likely to have to send it somewhere when I am done!
