It's probably in here somewhere, but are resort buses running early enough (i.e. pre-6am) or are most people driving/taking Uber or Lyft or Minnie vans?

6:30a is the earliest “first bus.”

Since the official park opening time is still 8 they aren't running buses extra early. Seems like the 6:30am bus is the earliest people are getting so to get there earlier people are ubering/lyfting

So I’m confused about something. If your evacuated from the ride, are you reassigned another boarding group or just given a Fastpass so you can come back anytime you want?

NEWS: Sunday 12/8 Hours Update

DHS park hours for tomorrow in the app are now posted as:

6am - 8am Extra Magic Hours

8am - 9pm Park Hours

It doesn't appear the website is updated yet, but I assume it will be shortly. (The website typically lags the app like that when park hours are adjusted)

Likely a very good change given how the last two days have been managed and throwing in the EMH wrinkle.

We were just given a FP, but we were told we could also join a new BG if they are still available

At minimum EMH guests will be able to get a BG from inside the park. Maybe RoR will open?

For those of you that have previously been given a paper return pass and a multi-experience, are you able to use the multi AND the paper pass? Or do I need the multi when I come back to redeem my paper pass?

it sounds like we can actually use both to ride Rise, so 2 rides plus the new boarding group (that they probably won’t get to)

They also said the park would open at 9am the last two days, and we see how that's gone.

My assumption is it will either be running during EMH, or it won't but guests will still be in the park and able to sign up for a boarding group. Assuming (key word) Disney turns on the ability to join a boarding group during that time.

Does anyone know if they are allowing rider swap for RoTR? I’ve got a little one that’s not tall enough to ride but everyone else in my party wants to ride. Is it handled like other Disney rides?

Here's a rookie question:

I'm staying in site now, and am planning to check out HS on Monday-- how early do the *parking lots* open? Was planning to be at the gate around 6, but the buses don't run that early afaik, so we wanted to drive ourselves.

And would anyone happen to know if they're doing a 6 AM open on Monday as well?

Ok so I cancelled my original boarding group after I posted then tried to join again and got BG70
However, as we were exiting they were scanning your band again. I asked what it was for, as I had already joined another BG and she looked surprised and was like “that’s what we are trying to avoid, and give someone else a chance”. Fair enough

So they are trying to stop the double bookings anyway
