Rotation Dining?

I am trying to select what day I want to go to Palos, so I have a question for those of you experienced cruisers.

How does this work? I think I read that Animator actually only has the "show" one evening and I don't want to miss this. I also see on Daves site that the Master Chef Series is on Sunday, so do you rotate each night, or just certain nights. And if you are in Animators on Sunday will they run the show, or will it be later in the cruise?

You rotate dining rooms every night. They only do the show in Animator's on the first night your rotation dines there. So...... if you are scheduled in Animator's on Sunday, then the show will be that night.

But please be aware it is not a production. What happens is the wait staff start off with black and white vests, as the meal goes on the walls (which have like tv screens in them) light up with different characters and clips of movies, at the end the wait staff switches their vests over to color and all the walls are lit now. (they start with just black and white) It is kinda neat but not something I would skip palo for. I guess years ago it was quite the thing though that your meal would get progressively more colorful, the condiments were like paintbrushes etc, dessert still comes on a "pallet" I think I had cheesecake with different "dipping sauces" in the paint wells.

Thanks to both of you for responding. We are doing the seven night cruise, so we will just pick a different night because I do think my kids would like to see the color changes.

Since we need to book Palo when we get on the ship, I was just trying to be a little organized so my husband and I don't do the proverbial, well what night do you want to go? (I don't want unhappy thoughts once I step off the plane in Florida)
