Has anyone been able to order any of these two wines from private dining and if so how much was it? Working with Poly IPO to have champagne set up in room when returning from our anniversary dinner but the sparkling wines they offer are all dry!

Any other suggestions?

Could you buy a bottle from Epcot and ask them to come set up your own bottle?

No they said I would have to purchase a bottle to have them set it up. They are setting out rose petals and candles (but cannot light candles) with no problem but said the wine would have to be ordered from private dining.

I thought the gesture of having the wine iced down with glasses would go over in a big way with DH but Im wondering about the cost now.. Since we are driving to WDW I may have to buy a bottle and sneak it into our bags..Send DH on a fools errand and do the roses, candles, champagne/wine myself..What do you think Nala is it worth the extra cost or not?

Since I'd never do anything like you're planning- I would never spend money on such things - I'd just get my own bottle if they don't have anything you want, and forget about having it set out. But then it's up to you to decide how much it means to you to have the "stage set" so to speak. Will they do all the other stuff if you don't buy wine from them? You could always just ask for some glasses.

I find it hard to believe that IPO won't find a way to acquire a bottle of your desired wine for you. That stuff is sold all over WDW.

I don't know about the Poly, but you can get Magicale in the gift shop at the GF for $21.95/bottle. I'm pretty sure it was almost double on the PD menu, though - and then add the service charges.

IPO said they would have no problem doing the roses and candles even if I dont buy the wine, but Id have to give them the roses and candles the night before. Not a big deal but Im thinking it would just be easier to do it all myself..

I believe Ill pack the roses and candles and a bottle of champagne and the night of our anniversary once we return frm Narcossee Ill find a way to make DH dissapear for 10 min while I set everything up. Not that he isnt worth the money but we have so much planned that Id rather spend the money on..

Send him to refill your mug or something easy. Sounds like a great plan and depending on the cost I would most likely decorate the room myself.

I know Rosa Regale can be ordered and delivered. We had a gift basket made with that by a friend and delivered to our room for our anniversary.

That is by far my fave champagne. I too do not like dry, but like sweet and it is the only red I can drink!

Yes, do it yourself, that way you have complete control over the sparkling wine you choose and don't have to pay resort prices. The idea of having him run get a mug refilled would seem about right, too. Good luck!

I know they have Rosa Regale available at the Poly. I believe I got it at one of the Gift shops, it was inside one of the refrigerators where they also have beer and other alcoholic beverages.
