I am sure this has been answered before, but I haven't be able to find it....

Anyway, what are some room service tipping guidelines. Let's say two adults ordered some items for the continental breakfast-what would be appropriate tipping?

How about two appetizer items?

I usually tip $3.00 - $4.00 when they serve breakfast. $2.00-$3.00 for our evening cookies and milk snack. LOL - BTW- the chocolate chip cookies they deliver from room service are very good:p

I always tip a minimum of $3 for the long trip up to my cabin.

For continental breakfast for two people, one with coffee and one with tea, $4. For an additional person, I'd add at least $1 each.

For appetizers - the same in general, mostly according to the number of people.

For a room service 'meal' with more items, like for dinner in the cabin, I'd probably start with $5, more for add'l people.

hope that helps
