Room-only discount questions: Need some answers please

Hi everyone,

When Disney releases a code for room-only discounts to the general public, can it be used for a club/concierge level room?

Also, if you have an existing room only ressie and a general public room only discount becomes available, do you just call and have them apply the code to your existing reservation or do they cancel your existing one and rebook a new one applying the code?

Question 1-- Depends on availability. My husband got a great concierge discount at the Beach Club a couple years ago. Six months later, we tried for something similar and nothing was available.

Question 2-- If you have an existing reservation, the agent can pull up your reservation and check availability for discounts and apply the discounts available to your existing reservation.

That's basically what I was going to answer! IMO it's been getting harder to get those Club-Level rooms with that kind of a discount lately.
