I know I don't need to pay the balance until arrival; however, are there any benefits to paying prior to arrival? I think I can pay it through the DU website...

I guess I am just ready to get to WDW, and this will bring me that much closer........;)

No, there really are no benefits to paying early. :) Why let Disney have your money any earlier than they need to?

Just pay at check-in and have a GREAT trip! :)

There are times when paying in advance can become advantageous so long as you have the available cash to do it.

Airline branded credit cards will sometimes have limited time promotions where everything you purchase/pay for between certain dates will get you double airline miles. I know Delta's credit card does this and I believe there are others that do, too. Since your room could run you some pretty big bucks, you may find it worth your while to pay the balance due during one of these promotions to get the extra miles.

You are going to have to pay the amount anyway and keeping it in your bank account at one and a 1/2 or 2% interest for a few months will make you a paltry little sum that is negligible.
