Thanks Dreams.......I'm getting so stressed that I'm going to find out I've spaced something important out. The only thing I've done is to put my underwear in the suitcase because I read that someone forgot theirs!

Nope, server must be too busy. The search function isn't up and running right now. Michelle mentioned that, that happens during peak times. If yopu want to try, type in "packing list" and you will probably come up with one by woven wonder. It was very helpful for me. She also gives a good run-down on the ship and activities as well.
I think we have an additional full suitcase, just due to that list!

Looking thru the list, here are a few things I might have forgotten...
Blanket or sheet for on the beach, baggies for packing a picnic lunch (from roomservice night before) in with a few plastic forks for use on St. Thomas, snorkeling gear and sandcastle tools, clock, refillable empty water bottle (for taking into ports- filled with the ships good water), hair conditioner, laundry 'discs' detergent and $3.00 per load in quarters. (I hope not to need to do laundry on board, but we might need just one) I read that sometimes the machines are out of change and detergent, at certain times. Also, photo copies of all of the birth certificates and passports to be carried in a separate bag. We also are bringing a compact beach umbrella, as I hate getting too much sun and don't want to rent them at every stop we might make.

Barb just called and they are in Ark. Said they will be at Jason's tomorrow afternoon...trip going good so far.

Heard there was another shooting this morning at another gas station....this time they have set up roadblocks..

This is what you wear around your neck to hold id cards and on the Magic, your kttw card. People use this so they don't have to carry a purse or have their bathing suits on with no pockets. It's great for kids but as adults, we did this last year and it was very convinient. I may do it again this year. Some lanyards have a plastic insert for the card but some have a clip where you need a hole punch for the card. They can come with different decorations and colors and people also use them for pins.

Diana, I think pants with a beaded top would not be too dressy. My daughter said to think of what girls where to homecoming. The girls here dress very dressy. Her boyfriends sister just went and wore a long dress.

Lori, didn't know about copies of birth certificates. Didn't know they run out of quarters, either. Good tips!

Patty, a lanyard is something that you wear around your neck that can hold your kttw card or whatever. There are two types. One with a clip or one that holds a plastic case. We have the plastic ziploc kind and a hard case kind. We use the hard case while in the ocean. Don't want to leave our kttw card or drivers license on the beach. Never have used the ziploc kind. Oh yes, they do have lanyards for pins.

Sally, we are on 5th. We, too, have a secret porthole room. Just on the opposite side of the ship as Garry and Julie.

Gotta go have lunch with Ted. He was just nominated for the Mayors, life time achievement award. I am soooo proud.

We still haven't heard from Darren lately! When was he leaving? I saw on the Favorite Server post that his friend was mentioned as a favorite.

Mom(I know you have a name Mom but I can't remember it) & Patty: Per all the posts here you can get a lanyard at WalMart.

We had a great time at dinner...were all your ears burning? Poor Dudettes 2 & 3. They are down the shore this weekend for an outdoor craft fair. It is pouring buckets here and it's supposed to continue all weekend.

Glad to hear that Barb is getting there safely.

It will be quiet weekend I'm sure as we will all be packing, leaving for WDW etc. I will Log into the internet and outlook and everytime I hear the ship's whistle will run to the computer to see who it is. I'll get a lot of exercise as computer is down, packing etc up.

Hope Denine and Jerry are having a safe trip and staying away from 95 in Maryland.

Patti, your dad just came home and said he got the silver van he put a bid on at work....a 2002 windstar, l5,000 miles a little cheaper than he got the 2000 one for. We weren't sure they were going to replace all the cars again this year but they did....

Now he is a happy camper...this one has a cd player and cell phone in it.
