We are on the 5th also! We are still thinking about an upgrade when we get there, but we'll see. We have a secret porthole room which we have never had before.

It is an inside stateroom BUT it has a porthole in it. There are only 6 of them on the ship. If I remember right they are 5020, 5022, 5024, 5520, 5522, 5524. They have the split bath and from what I can tell, the obstructed view, isn't that bad. There is just railing infront of the window, or a barrel or something like that. There are a oceanview room at an inside stateroom price. If you go www.castawayclub.com it is an oceanview room at an inside stateroom price! You click on the site and then click on staterooms. Then on the next page click on secret porthole rooms.

Actually I wasn't running late until I logged on this morning. I had too much to read. Well, not too much!! We can never have too much!!

Garry: I hope you have the right shade of lip stick for the cruise. Or, maybe you're one of those who needs no lipstick?!?!?!

Everyone have a great day. Turner has hockey tonight and we also are going to a 'minor league' hockey game. I won't be back on til late with the night owls or Saturday morning. But, I will be thinking about how much I want to be chatting with all my new friends!!

Good morning everyone....two more days! Wonder where Barb is now. They are going to stop in Georgia at her son's Air base and spend the night and then go on into Orlando. Jason is driving his new car so probably one of his sister's will ride with him.

Got a question for anyone who has cruised before....what time do you get off the ship? We have to catch a plane at l2:30 the day we get back....I am really concerned we are going to have enough time to drive to the airport and catch the plane on time.

Please tell me...no problem!

Boy, you guys sure did chat alot and let me guess, you discovered the smiles site?????????

You will have NO PROBLEM making a 12:30 flight. The latest you are allowed to stay on board is 9:00. (We stayed on as long as possible - didn't want it to end!)

I'm starting to stress over this..... haven't started packing, trying to get all our hockey stats and info done so someone can take over for us for 2 games, really would like to come home to a clean house (but HATE to clean it! -- I need a cleaning lady ), what to take for the kids to do journals for school - what do you need to do a scrapbook????? , etc. etc. etc.

PLUS kids are all home today and Monday due to it being Thanksgiving here -- uh oh, I need to get a turkey ---- sigh.

We are leaving the house at 6AM next Friday (18th) for the Buffalo airport -- should be at Radisson around 5:30 or 6pm.

I CAN'T WAIT

I teach scrap booking and have done 3 Disney albums....

Pick up postcards, take a lot of pictures and also pickup a lot of flyers with map of parks, attactions, etc. I saved park passes, etc. You will not use all the things you pick up but it gives you a great variety of things to put on your pages. I understand that at the 2R's in downtown Disney they have scrapbook supplies and cast members even show you how to do things with them.

Get an autograph book and when you take pictures of the different characters you tear the page out and put by the picture so only have then sign one side of page.

Hope this helps....I love to scrapbook and it is very addictive!!

I have a LOT of catching up to do. I have been lurking, just not much to post, and lol with all of your posts. Here goes...

Denine & Jerry: A late Bon Voyage to you and yeah for Kaleigh. I want to see lots of pics.

Barb: Have a fun trip and yeah for Jaymee.

Julie and Garry: You all have been busy. First, Julie, WHAT ARE YOU DOING AWAKE AT 4:00 am? and with 2 little ones. Clare keeps asking about her new friend. We are at the Wilderness Lodge for the 17-19, MK on the 18th only. I will be bringing bubbles, glow necklaces and little flashlights for any of the children that want them (a gift from Clare). Garry, too funny. David will be doing the wallet with matching shoes vs. a money clip and David, too, would be a character from Little Mermaid ("hotty" per David) Sebastian the Crab. David will be wearing the latest color for lips, brownish pink.

Sally: Character huh?! I would have to be someone carefree. NOT a princess. Maybe Lilo or the dinosaur from Toy Story. Laughing and happy always.

Beth: Panic about packing, no way!!! I haven't even started. Really.

DD123: DD1 I love Baloo, anyone from Jungle Book really. How was dinner. Would have loved to have been a fly on the wall. See you all soon and I will post until the 17th.

Sue: Oh please, oh please don't throw me in that Briar Patch. I sure wish I could get Song of the South somewhere. Love survivor too, but I do flip from that to Friends.

BTW, did anyone see Friends last night? Ripping my hometown of Tulsa. I promise we have more restaurants than Pig Palace, etc. It actually is a lovely town with lots of arts and beautiful hills and trees. Enough for the Oklahoma Tourism Department.

Diana: Funny to think of Thanksgiving time. Turkey and all huh?! No pack either, me too.

If anyone is interested, there is a nice sale at the Disney store this weekend. It started yesterday and goes through Sunday. Have fun with it. We even have some pins at 50% which would be good for the pin traders.

As for a character, I would be figment!! Pruple is my favorite color and he is so optimistic about everything and always putting a nice face on every situation. Now, remember, I said I would like to be Figment, but I have more of an edge then he does!

Good morning everyone who's still here! Mom, you are in 7510....Ken and I are in 7072......and Barb is in 8556.

I've been frantically trying to get things done at work, panicking about the packing I haven't done yet, getting my daughter moved, and trying to get my son and his 11 puppies out of my house! Not really, I enjoy having my kids around me even if they are grownups now

Is there a packing list by Disney somewhere?
