Hi to all!! Things have been chaotic at work, and home (with thinking about the cruise and all ..........) I have been guilty of lurking!!!!

Kristen and I met with Lori (kindler5) for lunch on Saturday! The girls and the mom's hit it off and we are all looking forward to the big event. Lori, I told Kristen not to tell Katie about it in her email because we don't want her to feel like she is out of the loop. They will all get along just great!!

I'm getting VERY stressed out! Haven't got anything packed, clothes don't fit (summer clothes, formal dress, nothing EEEK!), need to go shopping! BUT I do have the wine!

Well, I better go, Garry's got PT today and I have to take him. He still can't drive. I'll check back later.

Scholls: How did the tux situation go?

Barb: I can't stand going to the dentist too. I need to go but am deathly afraid of them!

Laurie, I'm so glad that you guys met up. I've felt so guilty that not everyone can come to the Colo. Bon Voyage party (but that sure doesn't keep me from yakkin about it ) I shouldn't have said that I wouldn't mention it to Katie. Asking Kristen not to mention it is a burden she shouldn't have to bear, so please accept my apology for starting that. Have Kristen tell Katie all about Kindler-Lori and Aly, then ask Katie to tell her about the cruisers she'll meet at the party. That's fair!

Julie, just bring the WINE. Clothes are really over-rated anyway.

Mickey02's sister ... you have some catchin up to do! We'll expect 20 posts from you by the end of tomorrow .

The Halloween crowd will just pass us again once we are on the Magic ... and they are NOT. I'm just happy that we hit 1000.

You guys have been quite busy since this morning! DD#1 will be quite happy when she gets home.

I have not started packing yet. The suitcases are still in the attic. I did print off my packing list yesterday.


Have to pick up DH's tuxedo shirts from the drycleaners today. I was not going to attempt to iron those things again. It was an awful experience!!!!! I do not iron is an under statement. I avoid it like the plague!!!!!

Sorry the title of this post sounds quite worrying doesn't it!

DreamsDoComeTrue - I am going to spend a week at WDW after the cruise before travelling back to the UK. There are a couple of reasons why I have chosen to go on the Cruise...

(here comes the life story bit...)

I used to be on the Disney International Program, From June 2002 - March 2001, I worked at the United Kingdom pavillion at Epcot as a cultural representative. I used to work in Food & Beverage and spent most of my time either working as a Server or greeter at the Rose & Crown and working in the quick service Fish and Chip Shop (So if any of you came to Epcot during that time you may have already seen me!) . I had such a great time working there (especially when I got to do crowd control for Tapastry of Nations, I loved entertaining everyone!!!) and I have to say I really didn't want to leave but unfortunatly everyone has to due to Visa limitations.

Anyway, I am now in the process of applying to work for Disney Cruise Line!!! I have submitted my C.V. and references and I now have to wait for them to come back over to the UK in February so that I can be interveiwed. In the meantime I was dying to do the cruise so I could see what it was really like firsthand, I have heard so many good things about it from many people and after reading so much about it before applying I knew I had to try it.

Also one of my old roomates from Disney who I am now very good friends with works as a server on the Disney Magic. He is now on his second contract and I have kept telling him that I would come over to visit him. I have requested to have him as my server whilst on board and he's promised to tell me all the best things to eat!!!

So thats why i'm crusing, and of course that i'm a self confessed DISNEY ADDICT, I think some of my friends think i'm mad!!!

Actually this cruise was originally going to be last year but when I said I was going to put a big banner across the ship wishing Barb a Happy "40" the cruise got put off a year......hmmmmm.....

Darren: That sounds like an excellent reason to cruise, although who really needs a reason?

FYI: After 12-31-03 there will no longer be a Disney Club. It is being changed to a credit card (Visa) where you earn points when you spend. Yuck!

Barb:are you sure your teeth need all that work or are you just having a love affair with your dentist

Denine:In our house, in a 6 onth period, 3 of us had the gall bladder surgery. First my daughter, then my mom and finally me. The doctor kiddingly said that mine would be free , that she had a special rate for 3. We never received a bill and neither did the insurance. I wonder if she ever realized it!!

Now I hear the love boat theme in my head.GRRRRR

I looked at a search engine for cruises. It shows that there are alot of cabins available on our cruise. The most it will show is 8 per category and I saw that there are at least 58 cabins and more available.

Will anyone attempt to get an upgradeat the port??
