being as it seems that this cruise won't be full, I'm currently in a catagory 11 stateroom how much do you think I would pay to get a catagory 9 (so I can have a window) if I asked for an upgrade on check-in?

I'm telling Mickey 02.....

As you know I am Mickey 02 and Mickey 02's sisters mom.

Been married almost 53 years and have 4 kids....l5 grandkids and 8 great grandkids with one more on the way.. we could fill a cruise ship by ourselves.

Went on a cruise with my son and his family in June to Alaska and loved it so am really looking forward to this cruise. My wonderful daughters are taking me on this one...it really does pay to have kids...heehee

Guess I should start packing as Barb is taking my luggage next week and I am flying with her daughter Jaymee the next Sunday.

This will be my 4th trip to Disneyworld.....but the first DW cruise.

Is anyone planning to bring soft side cooler on board? I was wondering since it said no coolers in docs. If you are will you "hide" it in your suitcase or wheel it on in. (ours has wheels)

Good Morning Everyone!

Mom...I noticed you forgot your age....heehee. I won't tell but you should be proud that you've survived all us kids this long!

I'm the favorite sister I'm Barb's age plus a couple and we all now know that Barb is 40! (almost 41....sorry Barb).

I am an Accountant for a surveying firm and married (29 years on Oct.5) to Ken who is the Purchasing Agent for a gasket manufacturing firm. We have 3 children....Leslie (28) married to Jason with 3 darling little boys (I do need a girl though), then there is Julie (26) expecting our fourth little boy Nov 19 (if she goes early, I'm going overboard and swimming back), and last but not least, our son Kenny (22) the proud father of 11 five day old puppies!

Ken and I have been planning a cruise for our 25th anniversary from Day One and, thanks to my "much younger" (happy Barb?) sister, we're finally doing it for our 29th.

Don't tell Mom but we're only taking her to referee!

OK, I'm Lori 39, (following Barb closley) part-time MRI Tech, part-time homework slave driver. DH is Ben 46, who is a prototype model shop machinist for a medical equipment maker.
Kids are Katie 9 going on 14, and Cody 7 still my snuggler.
We are flying in day before and staying at the Hyatt, have early seating, reserved G.E. Catamaran A.M. for St. Mart and plan on going to Coral World on our own plus Parasailing at St. Thom.

Darren, sorry I don't know about the upgrade pricing. Anyone else?

Barb, if Ben had a tux, he'd wear it. Since he doesn't, he'll just wear a suit and know that he's not alone.

Beth, I think people just roll their soft-sidded coolers on. I bought a small (shoulder-strap size) cooler that has a solid liner. I didn't want the ice to leak thru, like it will on my old soft-sider. I'm going to stuff it with carry-on items and use it as my carry-on luggage, then keep a days worth of drinks on ice in it, during the cruise, and use it for our St. Thomas day picnic food.
