Whoops, 2nd place. Looks like the 9/28 crowd have to move it on over to the community board now that their cruise is well underway. They were still active as ever on it, too. What a cool group they seem to be. I wonder if my kids' fall break will fall on Oct. 11 next year? One thing you know is that you won't get a secret porthole room on a cruise already full of DISers!
What made everyone else choose this particular week to cruise?
If I'm able to swing another cruise next year, it would be so fun to coordinate it with some people I have met before. It might have to be an every-other year thing. Listen to me, I haven't even been on one yet, and I'm addicted.

Re: Car seats.
I loved my Gerry convertible seat. There is a trick to opening it, but once you get it, it's so easy to do with one hand. It wore out at the hinges twice over the 5 years of constant use, and Gerry sent me a new one for free each time.

I think that it is going to be an every other year thing for us! (Except after last year the deal that we got in the mail from the Castaway Club was too good to pass up!!) We will probably go again in October 2004, but will probably want to do the Western next time. Lori -- In 2 years Katie and Kristen will still be at the kids rate I think!! Denine -- Your new little one should be about ready for the trip!!

Friends of ours are on their 3rd trip on the Magic as we speak!! I hope that they aren't too disappointed. They were really looking forward to doing the Western this time, but I read on the boards that they were diverted to St. Thomas, San Juan, USVI, and 2 Days at Castaway Cay. The 2 days at Castaway IMHO is a bonus!!

This weekend I plan to make my list and check it twice , then the guest room will be know as "packing central"

Good afternoon all! I checked in earlier this morning but didn't have enough time to post! We're up for a follow up cruise next year, 2004, 2005 whenever! All I know is that I've never had so much fun reading this thread! I sure hope that we keep in some contact after the cruise.

I hope our new mommy and daddy had a wonderful day today !

Yes, Barb. The Bon Voyage party is tomorrow at 4:30. Look forward to meeting your clan. Mom, I don't feel the airlines should be able to move you around like that. Especially between cities. Will you have a direct flight? Did it add time to your flight flying on a smaller aircraft? Frontier allowed me to change my return flight to the following day for free because they postponed our flight more than 4 hours since we booked. I was happy with that. In fact, just got our free parkhopper passes for WDW yesterday. Made my day!

Can't wait to hear from you, Denine. Lucky Julie and Garry get to help celebrate Denine and Jerry's new arrival.

Dudette1 has a wedding tonight right? So we are going to have to take up the posts tonight. We haven't heard from Denine and Jerry yet so I can assume that the day has gone perfectly! While you all will be at your Bon Voyage party, we will be at ours! To bad we don't have a internet camera hook up so we could all be at each others together! At least we will be there in spirit! I would rather be there than at the wedding. Not looking forward to going by myself. It's my DIL's brother getting married so I really won't know anyone except her family and they are very clanish. Probably won't stay late.

If my son was a girl I wanted to name her Allegra-thank heavens he was a he. That was long before the allergy medicine. The name actually belonged to a ballet dancer at that time. No check in from Jerry and Denine yet huh? I can't wait to hear all about the meeting. SOOO exciting! I like the name Camilla-nick name Cammi-I currently have someone in the training class with that name. Very old fashioned though, but currently unusual.
Have fun tomorrow everyone and have a Bahama Breeze for each of the Dudettes.

2 weeks left!!!!! Can you stand it! One week for Denine & Jerry.

Saw her, held her, fed her. She is absolutely perfect! Didn't want to give her back! Bought a crib and some outfits.

It IS quiet here tonight. Where is everybody? Just heard "you've got mail" and it was Denine. So glad you checked in with us. I bet it was SOOOOOO hard to give her back. Just remember you will have her soon and you don't have to hand her back. Can you visit her before the cruise?

Barb, have you ever been to Park Meadows Mall? If you have, just exit I25 same direction onto C470 and go to Yosemite. Head south on Yosemite to Maximus. It sits on the SE corner of Yosemite. This is an alternate way of Lori's. Thought that if you had visited Park Meadows you might be more comfortable going that way. I know several people in the Springs that drive up here for Park Meadows. Wasn't sure if you do.

Don't worry dudette, I'm here! I'm always here! It does get a little quiet here at night, but we night owls are here to keep you company! I agree with you dudette, EPCOT is my favorite park too. Our 3 yr old LOVES spaceship earth and rode test track this past July. EPCOT is our first park we go to and the last before we leave to go home.

Denine: glad to hear your daughter is perfect! Have you decided on a name? I can't wait to see pictures!

Darren where are you? We want to hear some stories from the parks!

Have a quick story to tell - last night I met a lady who had been on the 4-day MAGIC in July. Of all things to forget to pack, it was her underwear! She said it was anightmare and don't expect to find panties in Nassau!!

2 weeks form now we will be sitting at PHL me with my huge cup of coffee waiting very inpatiently to leave. May try to bribe the check in person to put us on an earlier flight!!!!! I'll have to take Plofida Towncar Phone # with me just in case we get lucky!
