One more thing. I meant to mention this earlier when I read the talk about snow. We hit 90 today in Charlotte. This is really getting me psyched up for cruising. I couldn't imagine having snow in early October. But then again, we don't get snow every year in Charlotte!

Snow? I would give my eye teeth for snow!!! I can't stand this 87 degrees in October. I was just saying today that I can't figure out what to wear to work. I don't want to make a fashion faux pas with the sandals and sleevless linen shift (I was going to do that this morning but changed.) It's time for brisk chilly weather, leaves starting to turn, Sweaters, jackets and I am still wearing limited summer clothes.

Well I'm glad you all liked the monorail spiel! Some times I find myself saying "Please stand clear of the doors..." at work but I think everone probably wonders what i'm on about and just thinks I'm mad as they haven't been to WDW.

I can't wait to go on the monorail again myself. I have just put a deposit down on a room at All Star Sports as I'm staying in Orlando after the cruise until Nov 3rd!!! All Star might not be luxury but it suits me and fits nicely to my budget! (got a room at AP rate)

Schrolls (sorry I suppose I should really learn everyones real names) - I just realised that your from Charlotte, NC and I am flying to Orlando from London on US Air and have to change planes both ways at Charlotte. Can you feel that It's A Small World thing kicking in now!

Well it's getting late now here in the UK and I suppose should be calling it a night (now that i've got my great bed time reading - cruise docs,) I also need plenty of time to have sweet dreams of cruising

I have some very exciting news to tell!
Jerry and I have been waiting 3-1/2 years to adopt. The adoption agency called today.
It's a girl!!!!!!
We bring her home on the 28th of this month. We get to see her tomorrow!

That is terrific news!!!!! Wow! 2 cruises back to back then 2 days later a little girl!!!!!

I was adopted so I have a special place in my heart for adopted children and their parents.

Oh, don't judge adoptees by how I turned out! TEE HEE! I think my mom would say I'm ok.

Oh my gosh, Denine. I can't tell you how excited I am for you! What a wonderful feeling you must have right now. Congratulations on your baby daughter. You make sure you check in with us tomorrow and tell us all about her. My advice to you and Jerry is to sleep, sleep, sleep on your cruises! What an anniversary gift! Life is great!!!

Hey Darren. We will be at All Stars Music on the 26th. We leave early on the 27th. We, too, like the All Stars. You are only in your room to sleep so why put out the big $$$$. Our favorite is Movies but they were booked.

Okay, is G. on Survivor telling the truth, embellishing a little or what? Can't tell. Ted was my favorite to win.

Snow?? I heard on todays news that we might have snow showers tonight. I also heard that the average 1st snowfall for Denver is mid October. Thank goodness we fly in a day before our cruises! Wouldn't that be horrible to be snowed in? I remember when I first moved here, a blizzard closed down the city on Halloween.

we are one day closer to leaving for Orlando....guess I should pack since Barb is taking my luggage. I just hope they don't think it is strange that Jaymee and I are flying with no luggage at all.

I saw what they did to some people when we got off the ship in Canada...they totally emptied their suitcases and went through everything piece by piece. My granddaughter and her husband had the same thing happen to them when they were flying to our son's house....she said everytime they boarded a plane they searched their luggage and really they don't look like terriost..but she said she had rolled her clothes and they re-rolled them for her and did a better job than she did.

I bet that they check you out pretty good without luggage. Be prepared. But heck, what do they have to search? A purse or two. Are you flying out of the Springs or DIA?

We filled out our docs today. That always gets me excited. It just isn't coming soon enough!

Missed Survivor -- too busy working on a Mayan Travel Pamphlet! Too bad we didn't do the western itinerary, the boys could have visited the ruins! But then...... we wouldn't be with you guys.....so I made the right choice.

We are getting healthier by the moment here -- let's keep our fingers crossed it stays that way! Actually last time Lianna got sick the afternoon we were at CC, she just slept on a lounger under an umbrella the entire afternoon. She just had a cold and fever so it wasn't too bad. The upchucking I can do without! (sorry.....)

ok - Olivers mom just told me she went cruise wear shopping for him so he would always look nice (and bought clothes for everyday and evening!!!) -- that's great BUT do I now have to buy Ian new clothes also? He probably really is due but.... He does have new nice pants (hadn't bought any of those since last cruise so was justified). What do I do? I certainly don't want Ian to feel he looks bad next to Oliver.......
