I have no problems getting down I-4 to the Disney exits... but does anyone know where I can find a detailed WDWorld map from I-4 to the Boardwalk Villas..?

thanx.

If you find your way to the Boardwalk, when you check in they will give you a very detailed map. I was at WDW 2 weeks ago and used a car to get around. The map they provide is very good, the best I've seen. It shows detail of all the exists on WDW property. Most other maps show the roads and not the exits. When your on the WDW property the signs are very helpful. Trust me, you will not get lost.
To get to the Boardwalk from I-4 use the Epcot exit and get off at the next exit on WDW property and follow the signs.

Ricks,

Thanks for replying, but my dilemma is a bit deeper. We have driven in and out of WDW a lot, but my college-age daughter (and her significant other) are going to beat us to Boardwalk by a day, and I was hoping to find a relatively easy-to-read document of some sort for her to try to follow into the resort. We'll probly sort it all out, but any further advice is more than welcome...

Actually the road signs in WDW can be a little bit unhelpful IF you don't know a few things ahead of time. Example- you should have some preconceived idea if you are looking for a resort in which Resort Area it is located. Some signs just say EPCOT resorts, or whatever. IF you don't know that BWV is an Epcot resort, or that OKW is near Downtown Disney, you can get anxious--you often will not get a sign that lists what you are looking for until it is too late. For instance, leaving OKW to go to BWV most signs don't tell you anything about which way to go, unless you know Fantasia Gardens or MGM are in the same area. The signs will point you to those places and eventually Boardwalk guidance is provided...
