Riviera Quick Service - just bad

We stayed there last week and I have to agree.

We did a split stay with Wilderness Lodge and the options were much better there in taste and variety. I think generally it’s the worst among the deluxe resorts.

I still love Topolinos and the Riviera (rooms, service etc.) generally but I wouldn’t mind if they refreshed the qs food.

So... a few posts back, I kind of ranted about how the food at Primo Piatto at Riviera has really not been good the last few times we've stayed there.

In all fairness...
we just spent 5 nights at Riviera for a pre-cruise trip. We mostly stayed at the resort since my DH had to work and so we ate at Primo Piatto a fair amount. It was 100% better than our last 2 stays. The menu is still somewhat limited, I'm assuming that's the way all QS will be from now on. But the quality, freshness, portions, taste, etc. were all sooo much better! I'm not sure how and why it changed, or why it is so inconsistent, but I wanted to say that we were much happier. Hoping it stays that way! I'll take it. :)

I'm so glad to hear that. On my next stay, I'm not staying at Riviera but I was looking forward to taking the Skyway over to try out the lemon blueberry pancakes that were recommended to me.

I've only eaten here one time, but the veggie skewers were great! No one else's food was outstanding, but we liked it better than the Pop and CB quick service.
