I was there around 3pm when the last of the rings was being put into place.

In person, it doesn't look any more impressive than the coaster itself. It wasn't lit up last night, and that's when it should really look impressive as the illuminated trains go up through the rings.

I don't know if the rings will light up as the trains pass them or if they will be on all of the time, but it's definitely going to be a pretty visual to be heading straight up through these things.

Okay, I'm going to be in Orlando next weekend (7/31-8/2). Not going to the parks, but what's the likelihood of RRR being open next weekend? I'm an AP holder as well, so even rumors to AP previews would be great! If there's a chance of it being open next weekend, I'll run over to the park for sure

Most likely the next thing to be added to the ride will be the PLAY ">" signs at the lift/drop hill. Get this ride going by August 1st. PLEASE!! LOL.

This coaster is taking longer to open than I thought,are they done with testing or now that the rings are up is there anything else they need to test.I plan to be there Aug 3-4th and really NEED to ride this thing.

I know 98Rock out of Tampa was there today,so was 98.5KTK.Kinda wierd to have music stations there when the ride is not open...

I stayed at a Hilton right across from the park last night and they were still running the ride without people on it. They were running it one after another though just like they would if it were open so maybe it will be opening soon. I plan on waiting to go to the park until they open this ride cause I don't wanna miss the lastest and greatest Orlando Attraction.
