Ringing in 2010, 6 months til we'll be back again

I love that mac 'n cheese grin!

I also have been know to take a banana from the CP buffet. :rolleyes1

Today Johanna and I looked at all of our pictures from our 2009 trip. This started after we watched Monsters, Inc. (twice). She told me she wanted to meet Sully so she could ask him why he named the little girl "Boo." Of course, she also told me she wants to meet Strawberry Shortcake while we are there. When I told her SS wasn't at Disney World she told me maybe they'd get her before we went. My DH told her maybe we'd just eat some strawberry shortcake when we were there. She was perfectly fine with that!

This update sealed the plan of CP for this short park trip. We too thought the buffet there was top notch, both at dinner and breakfast. Of course tonight Emily said she wanted to see Darby there.... that stinker!

Maybe Darby will be there when it reopens after rehab.

Boy, these two know how to work it for the camera!! :rotfl:

The prime rib story was hilarious....

Kathy

Love the pics with Pooh & Bella's Mac N Cheese face!! So Cute:cutie:
:yay:for Brooklynn participating in the parade. I love watching all the little ones going around.

That prime rib story had me:lmao:
MeMom I think ALL weekends go by too fast!! How come the weekdays do not go by that fast (unless you're at Disney then they fly by).
MeMom, Jill & girls hope you all have a great week!!:)

The weathermen around here have everyone aching for another long weekend. They say we're supposed to have a winter storm Thursday night. We'll see. I don't count my snowdays until I don't hear the 7:45 school bell. No school bell means I am happily at home! I'd be thankful for one, though. Three in one year is way rare for us!

John's parents are going to AL this weekend, so I won't see the girls until at least next weekend. When I look at the pictures and hear them on the phone, I really miss them - mac & cheese-covered or not.

All of the pictures with the Pooh characters are soooo cute! The girls just get more adorable. :goodvibes I love the mac and cheese face on Bella. :rotfl:

So disappointing when a character is so speedy. :(

And how cool that Brooklynn was such a big girl participating in the parade by herself! :thumbsup2

Loved the hats and scarves on the topiaries! I've never seen that before. :goodvibes

I love seeing Brooklynn's face when she is doing anything in Disney World. She truly does immerse herself in the magic. :wizard:

I just LOVE your CP pics!! The girls look like they're in heaven!!! :littleangel: CP is one of our favorites!! :goodvibes

After looking at those plates, I wanted someone to fix us a dinner just like that last night. I didn't cook, so the boys ate Sunday leftovers and I ate baked beans and potato salad. No comparison.

I love seeing Bella interact with the characters and smiling for the camera. It seems like she stayed awake more this time. I can't believe how fast Brooklynn is growing up. You can really tell when she is next to Bella.

She was awake a lot more, but she's really good about riding in that sling Jill has. She much prefers that to the stroller. She's not going to be happy when she outgrows that. She likes being right up there enjoying the walk with Mommy.

Brooklynn is growing up. She's such a sweetie, too. I love to just sit and talk with her and play with her, and I really love being in WDW with her.

All the wonderful pictures of the CP makes me wish I was there now. June can not come to soon. I loved the way Bella was really into her food. Brooklynn is a great big sister, you can see the love between them in the pictures. The Pooh pictures are my favorite, but then Pooh is a favorite of mine.

We have to wait until the last day of June. That so far away.

We like Crystal Palace because of the food and the characters. Brooklynn is always excited for me to see anything Eeyore, and Pooh, Piglet, and Tigger have always (except the one fly-by Tigger) been fun interactions and made for good pictures.

I had an awesome weekend! I was playing with my little buddy most of yesterday afternoon :goodvibes We stopped by Toys R Us on the way to get him some birthday presents. I found a cute Tigger shirt for him :) I saw some really cute Mickey pajamas but they were way too big for Kazin or Caleb. Kazin has a lot of toys that play music and he "dances" when he's playing with them. It's so cute. He'll just start bouncing up and down when he hears the music :rotfl:

Here's the little guy! 1 year and 5 days old now! I took these on my phone yesterday. They're slightly blurry because he grabbed my phone while I was taking them  And he has applesauce on his face. I was feeding him :) He has the sweetest smile!

This picture is so cute!

Little kids love to dance, and they are so cute doing it.

I think the Bella and Piglet picture is cute, too.

All your CP pics are adorable. Why in the world wouldn't Tigger want to stop and love on that sweet baby girl? :confused3 I think CP needs a management change. I've been hearing of lots of character problems and just chaos in general there lately. Wonder what's up with that??? Still praying for Bella.

The only two glitches we've ever had is this Tigger and the Pooh that never made it over to our table the whole approximately hour long we were there. We were able to get Pooh's picture at the door before we left, though. That was more of a handler issue, I think. In this case, it was just a case of Tigger being in a big hurry, but we still had a great night.

OMG thosepics of the girls (especially the mac and cheese pooh pic) are adorable!!!
Everyone we leave on Thursday.I will try and Twitter alot so if you are interested follow me I am wswrg on twitter. I am not sure if I will facebook pics because i need to go to verizon before we leave. My DS got a hold of my phone and somehow in 30 deconds totally removed the application to take and send picture texts.lol If I get to Verizon to have it fixed i will facebook or twit pic (is that right?) But I will twitter all I can. :0)

We will look forward to seeing all the pictures you are willing to give us. Hope you have an awesome time!

I don't think I've ever asked you, how was Brookie's first experience meeting characters? I'm hoping that the little guy likes them!

Brooklynn did better with the 'covered' characters than the face characters. She was a bit timid with the Princesses, because they were real people who she didn't truly know, yet they were up close and talking to her. She was never scared and there was never any crying with Mickey, Minnie, or any of the costumed characters.

Great CP update. Sorry about Tigger. Bella really dug into that mac-cheese. I am with you MeMom-I always grab our leftovers so they can snack later.

I think we pay enough money for those meals that we can get away with a snack for later. Especially when you go during a holiday and pay an even higher price for the same food!

This update sealed the plan of CP for this short park trip. We too thought the buffet there was top notch, both at dinner and breakfast. Of course tonight Emily said she wanted to see Darby there.... that stinker!

So you are doing a park, after all. One day at Magic Kingdom? Have I missed out on your latest plans? Keep me updated. Sometimes I don't realize people have pre-trip or trip reports for forever!

I love that mac 'n cheese grin!

Eating strawberry shortcake in Disney World is a good thing! Yummy!

I hope you get to meet everyone she wants to meet on the next trip! :goodvibes I'm sure the characters get lots of interesting questions from little kids every day.

Maybe Darby will be there when it reopens after rehab.

You never know. Isn't Darby at the Playhouse Disney Meet & Greet?
I think we have pictures with her.

Boy, these two know how to work it for the camera!! :rotfl:

Kathy

They are very used to a camera. Sometimes several cameras at once.

Wonderful CP pictures! We didn't do that one last trip and I am excited to go to the breakfast this next trip. I especially like that mac-n-cheese grin on Bella and Brooklyn's beaming face!! Makes me remember when my babies were smaller. *sigh* They grow tooo fast!!

I hope everyone has a good Tuesday! One more day closer to Friday.:goodvibes

You never know. Isn't Darby at the Playhouse Disney Meet & Greet?
I think we have pictures with her.

She was out by Pooh's Playful Spot in Magic Kingdom when we were there for 4th of July before Brooklynn turned 2. It was her and Pooh and Tigger.

I  CP! I can't wait to try breakfast!! Bella looks so cute with Mac and Cheese all over her face

Jarvis' story cracked me up! I did take something out of CP in a ziplock bag but here is my defense...I picked up a really yummy looking roll (with nuts and fruits) with all intentions of eating it with my meal. It however got pushed to the side and by the time I ate all my salads, meats and desserts, I didn't have any room. I figured if I left it on the table it would just get thrown away so I put it in a bag and into my backpack.

It made a really delicous breakfast the next day :rolleyes1

Okay, thanks MeMom. I can understand why she was not as comfortable with the Princesses.

The topiaries were very cute with the Christmas attire. I just saw them in another report I was reading yesterday. I wish that I was standing right there in front of them again getting ready to go fill a plate up with good eats! I am eating chicken noodle soup at my desk right now. Not nearly as exciting as Crystal Palace.

I wish I was too ! The kiddies and I had chicken nuggets & cheese fries , not as exciting as WDW food either :(

Same prediction for us here in north AL.....I'm praying reeeaaaalllllll hard for snow! :)

I'd like to do an early before parking opening breakfast there to get good empty street pictures.

I like the 'one day closer to Friday' mentality.

Was that the time you called me and said to hurry, when Brooklynn and I had gotten the Dream Fastpasses?

I can't see the picture from school. :sad1:

At the prices I have paid for those meals, I don't feel bad for taking the things I didn't finish. Like I said before, the Cape May lady offered us the means to take things with us, so it must not be a big deal, and we don't take the whole buffet! ;)

Okay, thanks MeMom. I can understand why she was not as comfortable with the Princesses.

She never cried, but you could tell she was a little more reserved with them.

Have you taken him to places liek Chuck E. Cheese to see how he does with those characters?

I wish I was too ! The kiddies and I had chicken nuggets & cheese fries , not as exciting as WDW food either :(

Maybe you could Disney it up next time and pretend you are in WDW! We do that when we can. We're silly, but it's fun. :goodvibes

Same prediction for us here in north AL.....I'm praying reeeaaaalllllll hard for snow! :)

A snow day and a three day weekend would be wonderful, but I don't give it much thought until it happens. We get skipped over by the Snow Fairy most of the time.

Love the CP pics. It has been soooo long since we have dined there- possibly even 6 years ago :sad1:. It was very nice to visit there with your fun gang! I love funny stories that have the whole table laughing- and making other tables wonder what is going on over there! Pot roast in a pocket book is some funny stuff!

since you are the guru of trip reports...would you mind stopping over on my new PTR- I have no readers yet....I have a ticker! The link to my new PTR is below- when you have a chance.

thanks!

No, we haven't taken him to Chuck E. Cheese. The one around here is rrrreallly bad! There's been a lot of crime action going on there lately, which is so sad!

Okay, I have had my kids call my phone on more that twenty occasions because I can't remember where I put it, but here's what I do that makes me look really stoooopid. I will be on the phone with someone, and as I am gathering up my things to leave, I get my purse, keys, glasses, and phone. I'll have everything in my possession except the darn phone, which I cannot find to save my life...
until I remember I am talking on it.

I saw that you are having cake at your house tonight. :thumbsup2

:rotfl: I've done the same thing!!!

Ah yes, you saw Henry hugging the stove? :lovestruc He's gotten really into hugging things lately. Today we stopped at McDonald's so I could have a coffee, he got some apples and he played in the playland. The have some chairs there that look like various McDonald's characters - like Grimace. There is one made of cheeseburgers, which he LOVES, he kept hugging it over and over! :goodvibes

ADORABLE!!!

Love all the shots of the girls with the characters too...and the prime rib story...! :rotfl2: Honestly, I would have no problem with taking a cookie or two from the buffet and putting them in my purse. I love to have stuff like that on hand for Henry. Now, taking a whole prime rib...that is another story!

We got snow up here in the frozen north! But only about 1 1/2 inches....and it froze a bit b/c of all the rain we got over the weekend...we need a lot more then that to get classes canceled...though it wouldn't have affected me today since my classes don't start until tomorrow...

The girls are super cute in all of the pics!

Love your CP pictures! The girls are just adorable! :lovestruc I love that place. That is one place I think we have eaten at every time we have gone. And the food looks delicious! It's making me ready for dinner...

I like it when everyone can get to the meals. Drew was the only one not there, but he did make it to the Kona dinner later in the trip, and those were the only two table service meals we had during that short trip.

I will finish responses and head your way. :)

Yeah, I'd stay away from that part of town.

You'll feel that way even more when you are paying for Henry to eat and he eats practically nothing. ::yes:: Brooklynn is often too busy watching characters to eat much, and then she's hungry shortly after we leave. That's pretty normal, I imagine.

They are still calling for snow and ice Thursday night. We'll see. An inch and a half of snow and any amount of ice will get us out.

Good luck with your classes!

I'll try to send some of our weather your way! Thanks for the 'good luck'...it's going to be a rough semester...they are making me take....finance :scared1: And to make it even worse the class meets at 8:30..AM :scared1::scared1::scared1:

It is so good! It is a family favorite for us now.

Trent says that's a good thing. You'll have a fresh mind. :goodvibes

 I thought that would be a good idea.

Don't want our tinkgurl or anybody in her sweet family getting hurt just for some pre-Disney character warm-ups.
