sometimes funny memes are just that...just funny memes and nothing more, and no, not every kid has a school provided computer and not every school had shelved closures as a thing of the past in favor of all remote learning days.

I'm thankful that this does not apply in my School District(s). A snow day is still a snow day for the kids (and teachers).

Only applies to schools in the foothills here where they get snow. It appears to be a more popular option that what they were doing before covid, which was having to extend the school year by how many snow days they had.

Shoot, watching the scroll at the bottom of the screen was high tech! I remember having to listen to the radio and wait for them to announce the my school (in between songs).

Nope. Our schools don't provide computers and our kids get a set number of "snow" days and a set number of "remote learning days" each year.

Only a foolish uncool tool would have made that challenge like that. It really isn't very good at all. All one has to do is just look at a dictionary to see it's not like taking a noontime trip to the moon. It seems to imply that there is a missing link in that gene pool and possibly missing a tooth too. They would not be unable to get to the root of the problem. In the meantime who gives a hoot.

The CARES act provided a device to every student in the U.S., but of course districts did not have to accept them. What happens if they use more snow days than are set?
