I am not so happy with it being Monday again, either, MeMom. This weekend did fly by, and I don't feel like I have much to show for it.

Crystal Palace looks like a lot of fun except for the less-than-wonderful Tigger. Jarvis' story had me cracking up! His sister must have had a huge purse!

Well, I have made it through Reading. Still have a long way to go!

I wish I had been filming when he was talking. It was hilarious. I didn't look around to see if people were looking at us, but they probably were.

Not too happy it is Monday here either! My goodness Miss Bella enjoyed her mac and cheese. Too cute! And good for Brooklyn jumping in and joining the parade. Sounds like a great meal! to the prime rib story!!

It was a great meal. I believe I could happily put Crystal Palace on my list for every trip.

Yes it did...and I'm not so excited about this Monday either.....leaving here in a few to head to the Dr for my next visit which is fine, but I have to do that yucky glucose screening test today so cross your fingers that it goes well.

Also, I just quickly looked back and can see that I can't hang out on your thread this morning, b/c there is SO much food....and I CAN'T EAT!!! And speaking of that why is EVERY commercial about food when you can't eat

or when you have the stomach flu like my DH and I...last night while we werre up we were attempting to watch tv..and all that was on it was food! DH and I got a 3 day weekend...feeling better now but no sleep and just really tired and sore. My DH;s whole family has had this so I had to send Caleb of with my dad today! Good thing he is self employeed and can take off to watch him!

It is nice that you have the help. I wish I lived close enough to help Jill when she gets in a bind like that.

I love that first picture of the girls and Pooh the best. They are absolutely just beaming! So adorable!

The story of Jarvis and the prime rib is hilarious! When we were at Crystal Palace we did grab a couple bananas and a few cookies to take with us. We're "those relative" too!!

I love the characters in front of the tree. They are so cute!

Oh yes, I will surely take a banana from a buffet. Brooklynn is a real monkey when it comes to bananas, so it is nice to have a snack that she likes about half an hour after we leave a place and she hasn't really eaten much.

Jarvis' prime rib story has me still laughing. Too funny!

Tigger must have not been feeling very bouncy this day....

I had to walk with her at first, but when we reached the first turn, I dropped out and went where I could get pictures. I love seeing these pictures and recalling her walking around Crystal Palace. It was a very fun night!

They do. You can really tell it with Brooklynn when we leave. She gets genuinely sad, and it kills us to see her tears and her quivering lip.

maybe it's not an "old person" thing. maybe it's a "smart person" thing.




i'm such a bad friend. erica and i were chatting on facebook last night and about 2 minutes after she had told me about this test, i said something like, "well, i'm gonna go eat some ice cream now," TOTALLY not thinking about what i was saying. she was like, "don't say that....i can't have any!!!!" i told her i meant to say that i was going to eat some liver.

Maybe it's a frugal person thing. I know we have paid a bunch of money for Brook to eat a dollar's worth of food, so if I have a half-eaten muffin, leftover biscuit, banana, or whatever in a bag, I'm good with that. The CM at Cape May last summer offered to bring us stuff to carry home food in, so I am sure they couldn't care less.

I have never taken a whole prime rib, though.

Now of course, I love the Pooh pic that everyone else has mentioned, but this pic of Brooklyn with E-war cracks me up. Even though it's a little blurry, you can tell how excited she is to see him. Precious!

That story about Jarvis's mom putting the prime rib in her purse cracks me up. Zip-lock bags would definitely have helped in that case!

When Kevin (DH) was younger, his family had gone to visit an aunt in Washington DC. While they were at a resturant, my MIL mentioned how pretty the drinking glasses were.....WELL, when they got back to the Aunt's house, she (the aunt) pulls a set of 4 glasses out of her purse and proceeds to give them to my MIL! My MIL said she didn't know what to say!

I would love to have seen the sister's face. In his mom's defense laughing, I think he has like 7 or 8 brother and sisters. She was probably just trying to make ends meet with all those kids.

The glasses - that's funny and crazy all at once!

I was finally able to get caught back up on yalls report. Between the holidays and my grandfather passing away I have been out of the loop. I am not on here much-only to check in on yalls report!
Glad to see yall had a great holiday. Looking forward to the rest of the TR.
I'll be sending thoughts and prayers for Bella.

So sorry to hear of your loss. I know you have many treasured memories of time spent with him.

Bella eats just about anything. She's so funny stuffing food into her mouth. She has a great appetite, and she works it off with her moving around as soon as she is finished. I wish I could say the same.

The topiaries were very cute with the Christmas attire. I just saw them in another report I was reading yesterday. I wish that I was standing right there in front of them again getting ready to go fill a plate up with good eats! I am eating chicken noodle soup at my desk right now. Not nearly as exciting as Crystal Palace.

I love seeing Bella interact with the characters and smiling for the camera. It seems like she stayed awake more this time. I can't believe how fast Brooklynn is growing up. You can really tell when she is next to Bella.

I had an awesome weekend! I was playing with my little buddy most of yesterday afternoon We stopped by Toys R Us on the way to get him some birthday presents. I found a cute Tigger shirt for him I saw some really cute Mickey pajamas but they were way too big for Kazin or Caleb. Kazin has a lot of toys that play music and he "dances" when he's playing with them. It's so cute. He'll just start bouncing up and down when he hears the music

Here's the little guy! 1 year and 5 days old now! I took these on my phone yesterday. They're slightly blurry because he grabbed my phone while I was taking them And he has applesauce on his face. I was feeding him He has the sweetest smile!

This update sealed the plan of CP for this short park trip. We too thought the buffet there was top notch, both at dinner and breakfast. Of course tonight Emily said she wanted to see Darby there.... that stinker!
